Railmat did specify after Anatoly self voted that self voting wouldn't be allowed. It would have been nice to see it in the main thread though.

Self voting is playing against your win condition. Only 3rd party roles have a different win condition. In mafia 14 was Processor the joker jester. He must eliminate his self to win.

As I understand: people are self voting if they don't want to play the game further.

Not every time. Sometimes there are strategic reasons to self vote.

I believe onjit's selfvote was justified here and should've gone through.

If he died, we would be able to see his rolecard which we could work off of. Compare this to waiting for someone to nightkill them - there's a chance of intentionally waiting specifically to avoid revealing that person's rolecard.
You still win even if you're dead, so why would lynching yourself be something that works against your win condition? A modclaim is the only way to absolutely confirm someone's role for sure.

I wouldn't have actually gone for it in his position, but I can see why someone would.

I don't think you can 100% blame the town for this one Peace. You also need to defend yourself, not just wait for the town do do it for you. If you had made your mafia list explain better who you think are suspicious and better to lynch than you, maybe they wouldn't have jumped on you like hungry hyenas.
Not saying it's completely your fault, but you can't blame it all on them.

Because they are a lot of times simply incomprehensible.
They also have no respect for the game rules.
And the last flaming proves they haven't understand anything from the game.

I would personally like to see a mafia game with Anatoly, Peace and Night More as the mafia.

And yeah i think you did a good job Railmat. The roles felt a lot more balanced than Onjit's mafia game. Yet you kept up his good method of managing. (For the most part, only a few minor gripes.)

I just realised that in the previous Mafia organised with RailMat we also had an invalid vote that prevented a lynch.

It's better than last time. There are certainly a fair few decisions you made that I think are questionable and that I think have affected game balance but I don't mind you as a moderator.
