It’ll be rebuilt, it’s too important of an cultural landmark for the French state and people. Might take some time. Another big worry is the priceless artifacts inside the church which are in jeopardy.

I really liked Art History. Passed the AP test with a 4, really learned a lot in that class. Makes me sad to see it ablaze.

I think we should all be grateful that it even lasted as long as it did. It was built over 700 years ago, and survived through two world wars, the french revolution, and several religious wars since then. I personally consider that a pretty good run for a piece of famous architecture.
