And the massive difference is these two custom warnings I gave jimissss, I think he said he wanted to have an even 100 points, and then said "hey let's make it 1000." Then he went and got himself permabanned over unrelated matters.

Out of 1989 users who have posted literally anything at all, there are 341 (17%) permanent bans that match non-deleted users. Almost 100% of them are trolls or alts or both, but there's a good handful of normal people who have asked to be permabanned in here, too.
The longest single post on the forums is this one by Raphe9000 weighing in at 1014347 bytes (1mil characters or 990KiB). Although a very close second place is Kira's post that weighs just 11000 bytes less.
One of the stat suggestions was "most wooted topic" but turns out that particular high score board is dominated by N1KF, frogman, Anch, and whoever else, and filtering out their woots took way too long.
Out of 1989 users, 402 have numbers in their usernames! Wow!
The forum database currently weighs 1.62GiB. The biggest table weighs a hefty 792MiB and that belongs to the search matches index. The posts table takes up 336MiB, and 58MiB for PMs. Fun fact! It takes 42MiB to store every unique word that has been said on the forums (size of search_words table).
There are 2370 unlocked and unanswered topics.
182 users have made 4239 posts since the beginning of the new year! 486 users and 43782 posts since this time last year! The year before that saw 551 users and 45511 posts.
There are 261 anonymous topics with 4736 anonymous posts in them.

Not a gif or any other type of file, it's a CSS animation so it's built into the forums basically.

thus, while the userbase died a little, the users that stayed here became more active on average

My guess is one that was deleted. Taking a closer look it appears to be the "Signature" warning type, which wasn't really needed after we just started chopping off everything past 300px.
