Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So minimap art stuff, right?
In that case, it just becomes an art contest, and how do you go about deciding what's best through that?

Drawing in EE or real life?

Definitely can't have minigames in real life bucko
By "drawing in real life" he probably meant using Microsoft Paint
I'm known as "haslo" in EE. Also, I refuse to play EEU.

So an MS Paint contest? In that case I'm at a great advantage because I use that very often.

Don't get excited over a small chance it's drawing in Paint. It is arguably the best picture editor, but it seems more likely to be drawing in EE.

Drawing = minigames. Probably true, suck at both.

Minimap art? I'm down

That's precisely why I'm excited for nothing, because people above are not serious, or if they are they don't have any idea what they're talking about

You're talking about editing, not drawing, but I'm experienced in drawing using MS Paint regardless. In other words, that's my ****, man.
Okay, but seriously, if this is just going to be an art contest, why bother keeping it on EE at that point?

Minimap art? I'm down
Nothing is set in stone yet. Can also be a very basic map in terms of gameplay, but the overall art on both, minimap and the rest is important.
The idea of the tournament is to have a stressfull hour of map building - lets say 50x50 or 100x100 at best - while it does not have to be fully used of course.
And you certainly have some fancy art maps

Art is a HUGE universe
Could you specify which draw style?
For example, for painting: You can´t say cubism is better than surrealism, because both have it´s own type of beauty.
Same for all the other drawing/painting styles.
So judging a bunch of art would be nonsensical, as it would require lots of parameters and rules.
Also, there is a lot of bots able to do art, so it might be require the contestant to provide a video as a proof of the making up.
That would limit the amount of users able to participate.

What the hell did I just read
Well, if it's EE based art, I made this for a loadscreen that never came to fruition.

Really, we are taking about ee-art and nothing more or less.
Also, everyone has his or her own style and the judges I have in mind also have different styles and ideas on art maps and therefore represent a wide variety of understanding of EE-art.
Also, this is a tournament which means two player will face each other in a certain time frame and draw a map based on the theme given shortly before the match starts.
btw, I limit the contest to non-staff member - sorry to exclude you, but I felt the need to say this because you mentioned limits.

Hell isn't swearing, as swearing is a sin and hell is in the bible (I think)

So I'm gonna be the guy to ask this: how do you realistically judge what art is objectively better to see who wins the contest?
