Make Signature MaxHeight be able to changed in users settings

• You can't change your signature height by setting this to "infinite" pixels for others. This would be annoying and bad. Imagine if peace tried to put all the images which were made for him in the sig, it would cover over 50% of the topic and this is not what the topic is about, so please see the point below.

• You can set the displayable for you signature size of others. It will affect only your display. This cannot harm others but will add you the ability to hide/show long signatures. Of course you can disable the signatures in total, but in the case you still want to see signatures, but do not want them to be such big. Everyone has his own comforts.

*I think we should not have a specific limit for signature height, because this is up to each user. Now: "But the case that a user wants to change this... .. is very few cases I can think of" - Everyone has his own comforts. Remember! The forum could be white, without themes, without youtube tag, without color tags, without themes, etc.!

This is not what the topic is about. I clearly said, that you can have this option, but the topic is about editing the height.

It is editing the height, the height just becomes zero

For people who insist on enforcing their own stylistic choices on the web, the Stylus extension is highly recommended. This is exactly what it's for. Most people don't care, and this doesn't add enough value to make an entire option for it, IMO the entire profile section is already needlessly complicated.

Thats what he's saying XD

His sig doesn't look good at certain resolutions because he doesn't know what size it should be to make it look good (as there isn't a constant max width).

Sadly, there isn't really a way to do this, as long as you can resize your browser, there will be some configurations where it doesn't fit, especially on smaller phone screens.

IMO signatures should be a place for a small thing, not something that takes up more space than your post itself, that just adds bloat (which is why I'm hesitant to use a signature or profile picture, I'd only ever consider something small enough that the content of my posts are almost always the majority of the vertical space of my posts)

Um that's for firefox browser only. Didn't know they had extentions though.

But that would be kinda hard as you can access forums on your phone using the browser and a phone doesn't have that big a resolution.

Um that's for firefox browser only. Didn't know they had extentions though.

Every browser has extensions or addons or plugins in some form. Firefox and Chrome have "stores" stuffed full of them.

That aint very nice. Clearly he's trying, but it doesn't help that signature sizes aren't uniform.
