EEU is holding me back from playing EE right now

anyone else feels like playing EE right now is kind of worthless considering working on worlds and all that stuff will just vanish away once EEU releases? its that type of situation im in right now and im not sure if i should continue playing or stop for now until EEU releases..

The inevitible shutdown of Everybody Edits and the future release of Everybody Edits Universe makes me feel that it isn't worth investing in completing my worlds

well, you're assuming that it will release. if you put that aside, maybe it's... well it's still not worth it, you should find something better to waste time on.

Same way, I really need something to burn my time with, but since I don't know if worlds will get transferred to EEU, I don't feel like finishing Cascalent Caverns

A few things being lost partially is better than EE dying and everything being lost completely (which is what will happen anyway in 2020)

I kinda had this attitude. Though I've never had much motivation for building worlds. I try to look at it more as the release of EEU may motivate me to build worlds again. That said, there's no reason why you shouldn't still be building worlds. It's been publicly stated that we will be able to save our worlds offline in some capacity. That way, once we feel that EEU has added back enough blocks to remake our worlds, we can simply spend a little time copying them over. Of course, the physics will be different, so there will also be a little process of fine tuning your worlds. But all worlds, bots included, can easily be remade in EEU.

Even though.. We will lose our progress, like worlds, bots, etc.

The important thing is, what we have done and accomplished in this game. This game has existed since.. 2010? I believe.

We have made so many friends, great friends. And have made loads of worlds for others to enjoy.

If you think about it, EEU.. Is a New Start, an New Game, and a New Universe.
