Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

One year ago today, the controversial August 2017 Update released.
This update contained the Cowgirl and Storm clouds.
Since then, we've transferred owners, gained and lost admins and mods.
We've got 10 new smileys
A bunch of new packs
etc.
What did you like and dislike about the last year?
What do you want to be fixed or changed?
What do you look forward to in the next year?
goodbye ee, i'll miss you

this update wasn’t controversial at all, it was just disappointing, at least to me
there was a noticable step down in quality of structure in updates that still stands to this day ever since toop left (who was basically the only driving force for flash updates at that point while nvd flew off to no-mans-land and the other staff worked on unity)
idk if anyone else feels it but that spark ee once had is just gone and it feels like a new game
new content is much appreciated and there’s stuff being added that people have wanted for a long time, but it just doesn’t feel effective as it would have been a year or 2 ago. it’s more of just an “oh ok neat” thing
personally i think the community should start being updated and involved more because this closed door policy the staff have been keeping since launch in 2009 will lead the game to its death
