I like this idea, but why not just make it like the old edit tutorial level? Or, combine the two: players gain edit within a region defined by the world owner. But, they don't lose it upon exiting. Or do, up to you.

What about limited edit?

You wouldn’t be able to place action Blocks, but effects and arrows, and only in a specific area. By this way other people may still edit the world.

Like SPAWN then EDIT — other people would still only spawn here.

It's not bad idea but how?
maybe do a special action block, that allows others to placing blocks on that, and only on that like in old tutorial and not allows to use god mode like in open worlds

this is what i like enetr an area and get edit owner could select wheter you lose edit in the area or not you can define more areas for editable

When you touch this block, it will grant you edit access in that world. Owner-Only Item like the Command Activator.

I have an idea! What if you could click on a user's name on the sidebar and give them edit by pressing a 'give edit' button? It sounds crazy I know, but it is so quick and easy I think it would make a great addition to the game.

^ these zones could be made wiht a block you need atleast to place 4 of em and you can only get edit /place blocks inside these sorat invinssible blokcs (you can still plac e blocks over them to make your own boarder) these zones dont need to be squares you can use more then 4 blocks to mak your own shape you need to give thi sblcok an ID people woith real edit dont lose edit if they go out of the area and caan edit everywhere if you are in zone 1 and can see zone 2 it means oyu stil cant edit there unless you enter zone 2

or not a zone, but special half visible background, that you can build on that without god mode, (and you can't change background)
then you could allow only to edit some blocks, for example those blocks, that can't allow to remove edit block

since we dont want random players being rewarded with edit, this could control very well the "world mods" and stuff.

if the player changes its username... well, whatever, not the world owner problem

I know that you could have some limits in crews, but i would that everybody edits
if staff'll add your sugestion of that topic, crews wouldn't be necessary

i want all my worlds to add their plays score to one single crew.

I know that you could have some limits in crews, but i would that everybody edits
if staff'll add your sugestion of that topic, crews wouldn't be necessary

why?
Crews are much more for the reputation, and there lots of other technical stuff in crews like news, world showcase, plays and likes, etc.
