Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Check out Hasit Nanda, he's truly amazing at covering electronic dance music tracks. He's got a lot of support from lots of electronic music artists and labels.

I listen to horizon by simeon ten holt a lot. A part at around 10 min always makes me cry
edit: link to 1st part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY3kZTj … gs=pl%2Cwn 2nd and 3rd part are also on yt but I doubt many will need it as it's a long piece and the 1st part is most beautiful. If anyones interested I can share the performance on spotify i always listen to (better than the yt version)

Debussy's "Girl With The Flaxen Hair" is very magical for me. The first time I heard it, a friend was playing it on a grand piano in college in one of our studios, and it was grand in every sense. Feeling the notes rip right through your body is just so ethereal
Steve Reich's "Piano Phase" of course is amazing. I'm not usually ever for classical music or stuff like that but modern/experimental stuff like this is so boundary pushing and unique that it fits right in with everything else I listen to
Luboymr Melnyk's rework of Kiasmos's "Burnt" is also fantastic, and on that note I should also probably recommend Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm
For me, it's gotta be somewhere between Beethoven's Pathetique sonata, 3rd Movement and Love is Blue by Richard Clayderman

Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1 is one of my favorites.
Chopin - Nocturne op.9 No.2 is always beautiful.
3 Piano Pieces, Op. 11: No. 1 Mässig (Viertel) is a bit on the odd side, but i like it.
Edit: how could i for get Libertango Arrangement by Jacob Koller awsome song done very well on piano.
i also forgot two clasics.
the entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag Played by Scott Joplin

Personally I really like the works of Ludocivo Enaudi (although it's not always just piano, but w/e)

Giovanni Puocci has similar style, you should check him out

Oh, I know aphex twins. I like their melodies a lot. I vouch for them.
Another one of that style "Mattia Cupelli". She's really amazing at what she does
"Avril 14th" is iconic obviously, I like "aisatsana [102]" a lot as well
The Aphex logo has been showing up in places so it looks like he's cooking something up again
Many piano pieces from Clannads soundtrack have been very important for me, maybe even more than the series itself. I think my favourite one is To the Same Heights. This song actually has the most natural sounding odd time signature segment I've ever heard (5/8 part starts at 1:04). Maybe I've just gotten used to it, who knows.
On the classical side, I really like Mozart's sonata for two pianos. Mozart is my favourite classical composer, and imo this one beats all his solo piano sonatas. It's just so fun to listen to the two pianos kinda taking turns playing the melodies.
My favourite jazz pianist is Ben Paterson, and I like his version of Lucky Southern the best. It's not purely piano music, but piano still has the main role. Ben Patersons playing has that Oscar Petersonish bebop touch, but in a bit more modern way? I just really like his style of playing.
Another Jazz piece I like is Keith Jarret's version of My Wild Irish Rose. A calm and beautiful ballad. It's the kind of song you can play when you look through the window on a rainy day I guess
