How can we attract people's attention to EE?

EE is too unpopular compared to some other games. Nobody even search up for Everybody Edits really. Only people who actually played it will. This is a very important question. If we cant get peiple's attention to EE, then is EE going to be at the abyss of popular games forever? No, we can't let that happen. We must let EE rise.

IIRC someone said a while ago that there is still a steady stream of new players, it's just that they leave after a day or two, so I guess the main goal is to make the game more new player friendly.

General Room
This one is inspired by the growing multiplayer web game base (.io games).
Almost all these games feature main rooms where everyone gets to play, if they don't want to search for any other, either public or private rooms.
These become accessible as soon as the players open the game and press Play. And the action in the rooms is usually displayed in the background.
This is a very easy way to get players into a game, so why not try to bring it to Everybody Edits too?
Assuming that Everybody Edits will run on a single server, the suggestion consists of a single, but huge, general room, which players can decide to join or spectate when the game loads.
The room will show as the background in the menu, and the lobby.
Users can join either as guest, or with their account. Everyone can edit, but with a very limited set of blocks, to encourage registering and playing on private rooms.
The objective of this room, is that anyone who doesn't find interesting enough rooms can just chill in the general room, and there should always be new great stuff to expect from any kind of players.

In my opinion, EE needs unity badly. I have invited far too many people to this game but nobody takes it seriously because it is a browser-based flash. I personally think that if the rEEboot is going to be in another engine, as well as if recieves proper advertising, then it will grow exponentially with less influence.

It doesn't have to be anything more than a flash game. The game, at its core, is ridiculously simple.

The real issue is how overwhelming the game can be to new players. Last time I checked, it still takes just under one year to buy all shop items. That's given that you spend your energy as soon as it's available, and make use of all campaign rewards (excluding gems)
