Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Favourite smoothies

What are your favourite smoothies?

Mine are:

Watermelon smoothie, I make it with watermelon and a little bit apple juice. Very easy, but also really good. Just make sure to cool it with ice, because it doesn't taste as good if it's not cooled.

Mango and pineapple smoothie, I use only fresh fruit in it. I put a bit yoghurt in it as well, and use apple juice to make it juicy (most people use orange juice but only fresh OJ tastes good in it, and that's a bit expensive and doesn't actually taste much better than apple juice). Sometimes I like to put a banana in it as well.

Re: Favourite smoothies

Personally, I haven't had much in the way of exotic smoothies. Strawberry and banana, though, I can appreciate.

Cleaning the blender cup is too much work so that's pretty prohibitive right there... :x

Would you recommend one over the other for a person who might just be "starting out" with the smoothie craze?

I have a glass blender, so I only have to wash it with water really to clean it after I used it.

If you want to start making smoothies the watermelon smoothie is really perfect, it doesn't really matter if you use too much or too little apple juice as it will always taste delicious. Also watermelon is not very hard to chop.
When I made it for my friends they acted like I was doing something magical with my blender because it's so delicious, but it's really easy to make.

Re: Favourite smoothies

ooh. actually that raises an important question. Do you fish out the seeds or... seedless watermelon?

Heres a recipie that can work with many fruits:
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen fruits (wildberry mix is usually good)
1/2 cup yogurt (sweetened if you like smoothies sweet)
1/4 cup juice (I use apple)
Honey if desired

And you just blend all of that together and you got a smoothie!

I don't remove seeds, you can if you want but it doesn't really make a difference imo
