Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Mod Breaking EE Rules

The EE Terms and Conditions states that the TaC "are rules and guidelines in place that everyone must follow." This includes the game staff.

However, one of the moderators has clearly violated the clause of "discriminates other people based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, age, sexuality, or anything else."

Yesterday, I reported the user 'TheLizardFace5151' for harassment due to my religion. The result? He was banned for five hours:

Today, I opened up a level called "The Only Way", and was banned for "advertising religious content'. The result? A seven-day ban.

I think we can all agree that this is clear discrimination of me due to my religious beliefs. A 7-day ban for simply sharing my beliefs vs a 5-hour ban for harassment is totally and completely lopsided. I demand that the moderator who so clearly broke the TaC be punished for this immediately, and that my ban be reduced to no more than five hours.

Thanks,
AK712

Your single-minded attitude is one of your biggest flaws, but I wouldn't put it past you with how you demonstrate your religious beliefs and hates.

You are trying to turn the game into a church, so I personally think your deserve a permanent ban. However, you deserve a ban this long even by game rules because you are a repeat offender, advertising your hate of gay people repeatedly despite many polite and unpolite requests to stop.

Edit: Also, as much as I heavily disagree with your religious beliefs, I wouldn't ban you here for that if I were a mod. I'd ban you for for how you advertise them - or the fact you do so at all.

I think we can all agree that your inane whinery is unwelcome on these forums and that your seven day ban is well deserved as a matter of recidivism

I came into this thread thinking that this was the old one. How wrong I was. Are you ****ing serious? Quit bringing up old dirt. Your prior ban has already expired and a resolution was met, regardless of whether you agreed with it or not. You need to learn to come with terms that you're the one breaking the rules, not the mods.

Re: Mod Breaking EE Rules

personally i don't care why you got banned or for what reason, but IIRC the admins did tell you to not do religious stuff anymore, so there's that

but this proves that there's an inconsistency in the rules - it's a flexible guideline that moderators can just enforce at will, at the leisure of their own interpretation

there needs to be a set-in-stone rulebook for how long a ban length is - i'd rather give my "OK" to a piece of paper that documents that 'x' will happen when you do 'y' then moderator A freely interpreting that 'x' will happen when you do 'y', while moderator B interprets that 'x' gets you 'z'.

tfw you think you can stop getting banned by opening other peoples levels and using guestbombing to push the levels to the top of the lobby

Without context, yes, most people would probably agree with you.

But you've been warned and banned numerous times for the same thing.

At this point, it's more likely they're banning you for being a nub, than for spreading religious content.

Re: Mod Breaking EE Rules

Hi, I was the person who banned you today, along with the person who banned thelizardface5151.

You have been told multiple times by multiple people to stop creating worlds with religious content. You have already been banned (for the same duration) for the same exact thing in the past. You knew you were going to be banned when creating the world, and you still created it. You knowingly and purposely created a world that broke the rules.

Thelizardface5151's harassment was more sexual in nature than religious, and he was banned 6 hours for it.

These are two completely different offenses (chat-based insults vs a world advertising content), and got two completely different punishments. Furthermore, no rule was broken by me when I banned either of you. I'm not discriminating against you by enforcing the rules.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact us at [email protected] or PM us on the forums.

Thanks.

How can AK712 break the rules when rules are artificial constructs that aren’t real?

Construct has an effect when it's destroyed (broken). Clearly constructs were meant to be broken.

Tbh Zoey you should seriously consider just permabanning him. It's very clear that he's not going to stop spreading religious propaganda no matter how many times he's told to do so.

How long will it take me to get banned again?

Re: Mod Breaking EE Rules

Not sure i see the problem, can’t we have free speech? And that’s coming from the guy that created the "should religion be put into the fantasy section of the bookstore" topic. If you don’t like his religious worlds then just don’t enter them. Or mock his backward views. Or create your own anti-religious EE worlds.
Ipwner created an section in our "EE crew 4-way" quadrant world which mocked religious indoctrination centers and their members which he called "godchildren". Is that an cause for getting banned too?

He said one message, and you reported him.

According to your ban message you were spamming content, which should have a higher penalty than one message.

Free speech means that you can say whatever you want, but that doesn't mean that anyone has to tolerate the nonsense you spew.
I mean, if we had your version of free speech, then we shouldn't ban harassers or spammers either because we would technically also be violating their free speech rights by doing so.
I've never played IPwner's world, so I can't confirm whether it breaks EE's rules or not, but if it's as bad as you seem to be implying then it probably warrants a ban.

I think this is the reason why I am an atheist.

And if you want to advertise your religious crap, then go to the most toxic community called Roblox.

Kinda hard to make demands when you yourself refuse to listen to the mods when it comes to the rules.

But despite everyone telling you to shut up and stop doing what you're doing, you're going to continue claiming you have every right to. But when someone tries to spread a positive message about non-religious movement you're going to call them a racist sexist because how DARE they be positive without being a Child of God?

Despite claiming to be a loving christian, you sure are hateful.

Re: Mod Breaking EE Rules

Not sure how many times you or lizardfaces have been banned in the past, but I would assume you've been banned more often than he has. (consdering you still keep doing the same things.) It would only make since that the length of the ban gets longer on repeat offenses.

Also saying "I demand you to do ___" is never going to get you far in life. I would recommend being more polite.

Well, it's not surprising. Religion, political issues, and debates tend to heat up/advertise beliefs to other players in other MMOs I've played (can lead to bans as well).

Wait

I think I've been in this religious world before but IIRC there were no hateful messages in them?  it was more of an uplifting string of messages.  Where in the rules does it say that this is against the rules?  Maybe I'm missing something but this doesn't seem rulebreaking to me.

I don't think AK was banned for The Greatest News but The Only Way, unless the latter is what you're referring to.
