You're weird and annoying if you decide to judge people based off their avatar preferences, and specially why they use it, as you always go into wrong reasons.

Who in the world would laugh of the death of a famous artist? Zoey's using it in honor to him, and because it fits her profile.

You should really stop judging people based off unimportant factors like profile pictures that don't reflect, in any way, people's personality.

The tl;dr version is the entire month of June will be proclaimed as ''Pride month'' where people take a stance to fight discrimination and injustice towards the LGBT community.

It highlights specifically the discrimination against LGBT people. Just like Black Lives Matter emphasizes that black lives ALSO matter

It really sucks to see all the homophobic people that exist. It's probably something I'm writing about for my english class practice exam

In the pride parade in my city this year, there were some people who tried to convince people that the parade was on a different street than the one it was on. I'm not sure how successful they were, but it was a thing that really doesn't need to be done.
I know of at least 4 people in my gym class that are LGBTQ, which is like 8% of the total; these people are treated badly by things (gym class assignment: what would you do if you just discovered that you / your partner got pregnant?). Most people I find are in a neutral state where they don't really care; I haven't actually seen any homophobes in my school, and I know most people don't support it. Despite how important pride is, I still don't think there should be a month dedicated to it; pick a day or just leave it for the entire year. People should be able to show it in any time of the year - same with any other cultural phenomena that lasts a full month (or anywhere between a fortnight and a season, really)
