Absolutely not. As the saying goes, tolerance of intolerance is cowardice. You should read up on the Paradox of Tolerance, and why it's an important subject.

There are ways to respond to intolerance that don't involve censorship.

Sometimes I think about coming back to EE because I miss some of the friends I've made and the people here....

Then I see posts like this one and realize that it was reasons like the fact that this is even a problem that keeps me from returning to the game.

EE is a platforming game, not a platform for your opinions. Go write a blog or post on reddit or something if you want that kind of site.

What world are we even talking about
EDIT: I just found out , that they banned the Christian worlds, what i believe are more of a ''JW'' worlds, because some christians push their beliefs on, but JW is the cult that does this. EE shouldn't be a game, where we discuss religion and politics. If you want to do it, goto debates and argue there over these discussions. EE is a children game after all. Coming back to just comment on AK712: What were you thinking when you made these worlds with EEeditor, opening a bible, reading the verses and typing them to the signs, making a sign that you're recording the chats and so on. And doing all of this on a almost dead flash game. I am seriously thinking that you're a Jehova Witness.

I wonder if you realize that you're being as toxic as everyone you seem to hate. EDIT : and I might add that many people around here are toxic, you're not the only one, so "no worries dude"

If you hate this game and this community as much as you make it look like, you could also leave because there are much better places and games all over the internet, and even some with userbases you would agree with and be a part of without losing your time and energy in "nonsense" about stupid stuff like this. Because I must admit it makes me wonder why you would force yourself to be in a community you despise (can't blame you for that tho). But eh, if you want to stay, stay. If you enjoy all these conflicts and drama in this community, who am I to tell you to leave ? I'm just saying it might not make you feel as good as other activities or communities would. Your choice dude. (I would have quoted Norwegianboy thread about "being free from ee" but you get my point I guess )

As for AK712, I think his world was inappropriate for kids ( and for EE ) because the Bible is inappropriate for kids - like any other religious material really.
He's not to blame for being a bigot or anything, he just quoted a Book that people explained to him - I doubt you understand the Bible as well, as philosophers have been trying to understand what it means to be christian for 1900 years, and there even were wars about this stuff ! And from what I understand from a christian friend and her very religious friends, all a believer's life is about understanding the Bible, and there still is debates about it as we speak in many "religious circles". And being a believer is much more than reading the Bible, it's philosophical, spiritual, and it can even be political.
I might also add that any political stuff is inappropriate in EE - quoting Karl Marx and preaching about communism or quoting Adam Smith about how great capitalism is has no place in a kids game. Please, life is already boring and serious for adults, let's not make it boring and serious for kids too.

Now I don't think AK712 should be banned even tho he was a bit creepy, and I don't think he deserved that much hate as well - and tbh I don't think Jawapa or Atilla deserve the hate they get as well for what they did. I wouldn't even mind some temporary bans for the insults he got. The only thing people should have done was to report the level if they thought it was not appropriate (as I did) or make a forum thread as there was, but I can totally understand why AK712 is ****, and I'm sure this wont change his mind at all so all of this was completly stupid if you guys thought "well i'm going to show him that this is all lies" and stuff.

I think I said everything I have to say.
Jawapa don't take this wrong or personally, I'm not trying to kick you out or anything, just telling you what I think - that's what free speech is all about after all.

Alright, so this is (hopefully) the last post I make on this issue, and I'm going to try to explain as much as I can so you, AK712, perfectly understand what you've done to deserve this.

When I saw your first religious worlds (All About God), I legitimately believed they were joke worlds, like there's no way someone's actually this religious and is actually spreading it in an online flash game, right? I didn't think much of those worlds because I didn't actually believe they were any form of religious propaganda. But then this happened.

The world you just made was probably the biggest propaganda move I have ever seen anyone do. EE isn't a place to discuss your religion, political stance, or really anything of the sort. You have so many other sites to choose from but you pick a game that has kids playing it. Literally why.

I'm also not a big fan of you recording people without their consent, which is a very big no-no. Now according to Google, you are legally allowed to do that, but what concerns me is if you're morally allowed to do that. Since imo you shouldn't be. It also raises the concern that you have already recorded or might record people again (And from what I've heard you have recorded people in the past), but never telling them that they are being recorded.

However what really concerns me is the ''Homosexuality is a sin'' part. That is the most vile thing your world spoke about and what makes me glad that xenonetix took some **** initiative and stopped you from preaching your propaganda. Now so I'm not completely biased I do want to point out that everything you said in that section were just quotes from the Bible and not your own words. However that does not make spreading the ideas from the Bible much different than just using your own words.
...But you have still somehow convinced several staff members that, since they weren't your words, you shouldn't be held accountable for saying them. This argument is absolute trash. They might not be your direct words but you are still the one who put them on a sign and put it in the world.

The only thing you have been in the right on about this issue is that you have been personally attacked by certain users, and while I do sympathize with you on that part, that doesn't excuse you of what you've done.

TL;DR - Stop please. You are wrong on this one.

It's absolutely incredible that people dismiss the entire context in which a statement is made. It did not merely create an off-the-cuff remark and cite the bible for a historical purpose. The world is comprised entirely of his opinion and as per the chat logs he stated he believes they are sinners.
He isn't some philosophical scholar in this instance, he isn't citing the bible merely from a  literature standpoint, he's endorsing the bible that wrongly states that homosexuality is an indecent act, and further states that it should be punished by death. It's reprehensible and it is hate speech.

If someone places a sign in their world containing text like, "As Mein Kampf clearly states, Jews should be burned to death." whilst praising national socialism, that is absolutely hate speech, and it should be extremely obvious that it's an endorsement since it's entirely unnecessary and doesn't belong in a children's game.

He shouldn't be banned, and as a person who was banned from this (not for insults but general spam) I 100% agree with this. I think I summed it up awhile ago.

From what I've heard the world was having the bible written in signs with a couple of personal interpretations.

A few denigrating signs don't justify clearing the whole world, in my opinion.

Players shouldn't discuss sexuality in a game like EE. And hate speech from an objective point of view should always be punished with a medium-long ban.

Excluding that part, spreading the information about the bible seems harmless.
