I concur. I'd like there to be as much variation as possible. Hell, with bots and world portals, EE could (and probably should) be on the route of become something between a sandbox game and a platform to create simple games on. Look at EX Shift, that was a party game.

i dont even play worlds. games with invisible stuff + creator made levels are always misused. just look at mario maker

Might as wel remove every block from the game because the world owner misuses them
It's just easier to misuse invisible blocks, but thath doesn't mean they cannot fill a worthy purpose in the game. I have seen enough levels that use both correctly to create some awesome stuff.
Also, if a level is 'bad' due to the misuse of blocks, there always is the back to lobby button

As much as I love the new additions, levels severely downgraded after all these complex action blocks got added, they took away the simplicity of the game by doing so. Sure, you don't have to use them, but take a look at current worlds in the lobby for a second. Boosts, switches, gravity, effects, spikes, checkpoints, invisible gravity, practically everywhere.
People misuses the new actions blocks often, levels are less and less fun to play and more of a headache than anything else.
You could blame that on the low player count, though. Hell, back in 2011 half the lobby pretty much consisted of stair maps. At least there's variety in the garbage that lingers in the lobby now.

This... Is very vague. Which action blocks lead to worlds being ''severely downgraded?'' Are you sure it was the invisible items or are you just connecting two random dots and saying that you've drawn a conclusion?

... but will removing invisible portals make people better world builders? At best it just gives people less opportunities to make bad level design. But let's be real here, if you are an awful world creator, then you are still gonna make awful worlds regardless of whether or not you have the option of using invisible portals.

Yes, but there are also people who use these items to make truly outstanding worlds that would've been half baked if they used normal items instead of invisible ones. Like, for example, illusion worlds. I've seen a few really well done illusion worlds, and I could never experience them if invisible items were never created.

Agreed, as much as everyone hates them, we should not remove them for the sake of the people who do use them wisely, and removing a key object that make levels bad isnt going to remove all bad levels.

The argument that "if someone abuses (x), it's just bad level design, therefore this feature/suggestion should stay/shouldn't be overlooked" makes sense, but for invisible arrows I do think there's another factor that should be taken into account.
Invis things aren't useful intuitively. Unless someone has a really good idea or is really good at level design, invis things are extremely difficult to not "abuse". When coins were introduced to the game, people definitely could've just flooded worlds with them if they wanted to, but if someone wanted to create a decent level it wouldn't be hard for them to figure out how to use coins to benefit their world.
With invis things, it's REALLY hard to make them work, as it's easy for the owner to falsely assume that their locations are obvious. This is an inherent issue with anything invisible, and unless the level builder really knows what they're doing, it's inevitable.

I really don't get why a lot of people wants the invisible portals and gravity arrows removed, but unfortunately, you're all going to have to live with it. They're permanently in the game forever. XD
