Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Posts hidden as part of a raid now keep the post action bar so you can still report them. And it'll let mods delete individual posts instead of just entire topics at a time.
The list tag has gotten a tiny overhaul.
Just type
a list of stuff
with a new item on each line
highlight the whole deal and hit the list button to get

New users are now also subject to mod approval before being able to post on the forums.

This sounds a little drastic. Would it be doable instead to restrict new users to waiting (for example) 10min between posts until mod-approved or automatically after 10 posts?

That would be possible

Posts by a user marked as a raider are no longer hidden if the raid alarm is lowered.
Mods have been given a new panel to raise/lower the alarm.
A new user group has been created that can instantly set off the alarm by reporting a user.

Did this but no auto-approval for the moment.

Possibly better explanation:
Step 1: Make your list with one item per line
for
example
like
this
Step 2: Highlight and click the list button and it will be list-ified.
for
example
like
this

Hey Diff, are you sure you added enough obscure tags to the forum legend? You may have missed Could be an alt but idk for sure user, and First post was spam but it’s too soon to tell user.
At this point it might be easier to rank users with a points-based system that determines their permissions, such as posting links or initiating raid lockdowns.
Again, groups with no members shouldn’t even appear in the legend. EE may never have another “Campaign Manager” and yet that tag’s still there as if they’re trying to find someone to take that role. It’s misleading, and I won’t even ask about “EE Admin v2.0”.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

I'll clean it up at some point. But this is not that point.

Not sure if this is already a thing but maybe we should prevent new users from making topics until they get approved as well?
or is that too harsh

User groups have been cleaned up a bit and the list button has been fairly thoroughly tested now
Merged:
Unapproved Users
Tentatively Approved Users
Suspiciously New Users
Hidden:
Trusted Members
EE Admin v2.0
Campaign Managers
New Users
Renamed:
EE Admin v2.0 -> EE Forum Manager (No longer visible)
Tentatively Approved Users - > Restricted New Users (Title is now "Brand New Member")
EE Administrators -> EE Admins (Forum title unchanged, it has always been "EE Admin")
EE Moderators -> EE Mods (Same)
Campaign Managers -> Campaign Curators
Other changes:
Searching the user list for "New Users" brings up both New User groups. Restricted New User group hidden from search for normal users.
Searching the user list for "EE Admins" brings up both EE Admin groups. EE Forum Manager group hidden from search.

It's only hidden until someone staff-y tells me to put curators in it, I haven't done it yet because I don't know if the staff wants curators publicly labeled on the forums. People might ask them about issues thinking they're mods but they're not mods so.
I think you've had enough woots for today. (x2)
Stop that

The system counts woots in the past 24 hours, it doesn't reset some counter at midnight or some other point in time. If you wooted a post yesterday at 11PM, at 11PM today that woot would pass the 24h mark and become free to use again.

i think it should reset. makes it easier so you dont have to count individual woots and would definitely clear up confusion
