Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Vision blockers aren't really the same thing. This is an effect, not a block. It makes the whole screen dark and you can only see things where the smiley is pointing at, like a flashlight.

It wouldn't because vision blockers do not change your vision dynamically, they just restrict your vision to an enclosed polygon. So if you had a wall in front of you that didn't touch the ceiling, you would be able to see past it if the room used vision blockers. But this effect would not allow you to see what's ahead. It's like monaco:

The shadow blocks would work though, imo thats probably the best idea as it could be used for huge ranges of things, not just one or two very specific cases, plus it could also allow for the bigger screen resolution that I think is planned for UnitEE without needing huge gaps between places youre not supposed to be able to see between.

but with an effect you dont need to place ugly blocks or you should place the effect in th eblock itself so you can choose wheter th eblock should have shadow pysics or not so you could make realistic RPG's and/or what you say destroyer not needing to have huge gaps between blocks... haveing a new block for that is makign some thing suglier like ice block aleady does in some switch machines my suggestion is to remove ice block and add the ice pysic to all blocks so you can choose wheter a block is sliperly or not

Maybe as a BG then? That would mean that you could effectively have it work with any block, and as it would be completely black, BGs would have no effect, so they wouldnt be needed
