just a suggestion here, for the effect that changes direction of gravity, it could rotate the world relatively to player instead of rotating the player relatively to world. or rotate the camera and player. so your smiley would always face down but everything around you would rotate instead

This wouldn't really change gameplay too much, you would just experience the world slightly differently with the aesthetic of other smileys at different rotations. The current way means that there is a difference in gameplay as it is more confusing for the player to take into account their orientation.

As a side note, can we get one of those blocks with a dot in the middle that just allows you to float around freely like in god mode but at normal speed and unable to pass through walls?

That video show how the change gravity effect is going on, kinda confuse.

About the give-god effect:
There should be a command to remove everyone´s god-mode, something like: ¨/removegod all¨.
Also players can stay on the give-god effect and when they get their god-mode removed they get back the god-mode by the give-god effect under them.
As so, there should be a way for the owner to know which players have have god-mode & which players have edit.
(Teleport cheaters will get that Give-God-mode effect by cheating).
