he said he broke them into 50s (citation needed) so the number would probably be bigger. Ofc there's the statistical impossibility that one person gets all the prizes.

IMO the best way to do this, is to livestream the selection.

The process will be as follows:
1. Announce time of selection, with livestream.
2. Go to random.org
3. Use the list randomizer
4. Randomize the list.
5. Count the first X people on the list as winners. (where X is #gems/50)
6. Distribute codes.
7. No drama.

with there being 9 prizes and 61 participants, the chance of getting a prize is 9/61 which is 14.75%
the chance of getting 2 prizes is 14.75%^2 which is 2%
the chance of getting 3 prizes is 14.75%^3 which is 0.32%
the chance of getting all 9 prizes is 3.3129438090174098483635062091946e-8 (dont even ask)
so yeah...

well, trust works on believing in something without evidence, no one guaranteed he wouldn't give gems to people he likes but i trust him in the fairness of the giveaway

You really think that falsifying random.org output (as it appears on your livestream) is difficult to do? bah, you underestimate folks!

besides, list randomizer means the same person can't win again. I mean, I'm cool with that, but that differs from the C# algorithm (IIRC) and should be noted

What a bunch of crybabies. This is a FREE GEM GIVEAWAY. Stop complaining that you might not win.

AlphaJon created this topic to raffle off 2x50 gem coupons without expecting real donations. If he wanted to be biased then why make a raffle and not just give it to his friends directly? I don't think any of that has changed after I've donated.

This. SmittyW nailed it. I don't why you are getting paranoid over a giveaway that literally only requires you to make a single post.

Currently, I'm thinking of using random.org's random binary files of the 24th november which are constant for a given day and public. I'll explain why in detail when I get on a computer.

I guess I'll join in and pretend like I actually have a chance of winning something with all odds stacked up against me except for the fact that I have an equal chance of winning against the people who did not use alts (because I'm sure at least one person did). Also, I'll donate too. I'll donate... hmmm..... 0 gems <3 Am I not eternally generous? How do you even give gems? I thought Jawapa ruined that for us.
