Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is it just me or is there an overwhelming presence of spambots these days?
And it's not like it's one account at a time, I've had to kick groups of 3-4 accounts spamming together :/
As it probaby is one or two users doing this with quite a few alts, does reporting them (i.e. their alts) in any way register the IP?

I've noticed this in a lot of recent reports. They are all from the same IP and we are looking into a temp IP ban.

Why just a temporary ban? For me is the user abusing the bots. And should be banned a longer time.

An endless ban of the IP would be nice

^ Just keep in mind
IP Bans
- Don't necessarily apply to just one person; multiple people on one network can have the same external IP
- Don't necessarily last for longer than a few days; dynamic IPs can change at the user's whim anyway
So a temporary IP ban makes more sense, but probably doesn't carry the same shock-and-awe weight that we often care for.
