Alright so I'm using Lictor's random room idea (Panicore, Gloomy Castle), and instead of minis, I'm going to use puzzles. You have a minute to solve the puzzles. They are random. There is a total of 35 puzzles, and if you don't solve them within a minute, you die and restart (one life only)! I'm excited to start working on this as I can see some very interesting gameplay come out of this. =)

There are so many ideas you can do with these orange switches... You can make it so that the gates and doors open and close undergoing various patterns.
And WELP time to work on Candy Factory.

I got some ideas for making people ingame. I've always built them like this before:
But then I realised I could make them bigger to have more detail. I find it very odd I never tried this before!
Some thoughts I got:
When making smaller characters, half blocks are extremely useful! They can be used for hair, arms and clothing.
Instead of using the smiley block as a head I figured using sand works sometimes even better.
Three blocks tall characters can have a lot more detail than ones which are two blocks tall.
Does anyone use different designs?

I would like to bump this thread by sharing an idea I had stuck in my head for quite a while.
Self co-op.
Basically, you activate switches or keys here, then teleport to a different spot in the same general area to do another thing, then teleport back to progress.
It's hard explaining it.
Another idea is Mafia / Town of Salem. Switch-building for this would be extremely tough, but it may be pulled off in the right hands.
Also, does anybody have any cool ideas with global switches? And no, we already have animation here.
I've recently gotten into Geometry Dash. With all the available effects I think it's *possible* to make a level. I'm gonna try..

easy. use switches to make a binary counter that counts up to 999. count up 1 every time the player makes a successful jump. if the player misses the jump make it count all the way back down, or just trap the player.
= entry/exit portal to binary tree
= solid block
= empty space
= spike/dot/portal to trap
Of course its not possible to make it impossible with infinite jumps. Can you make a single jump level impossible if the player has the double jump effect? No, that's stupid because there is no way to force a second jump.

I'm a fan of having more doors and gates for certain conditions in EE but I don't feel like the number of jumps you have used is one of them.

Make an infinite jumps level that is possible but hard with 999 jumps. Give the player 999 jumps at the beginning. If the player dies once, they touch a switch and then get infinite jumps for the rest of the level. If they complete the level without dying, they get some sort of extra reward, like a cake or blue coin.
