When I make a new world, it doesn't have any stats leaving it to rot at the bottom of the list were no one will find it let alone play it. So my question is, how do you get your worlds noticed, is there some witchcraft in here or is it purely reputation?

Reputation does play sort of a factor. If you know lots of people, you can ask them to come. Making a good world helps too. Bombing the world is best way imo

Post it to Rooms and you will get a lot of attention (post it at about 2-4PM UTC ), this should give you a good baseline.
I usually just AFK in the world for days on end and during that time if it is semi-decent or better it will get a good peak.

just get a few friends in your world
make sure the title has WIP (work in progress)
make sure mod was there
and last, don't kick anyone

Just name the world "Free Edit"
Depends on the world actually. If the world is bot-operated, it might get noticed. If the world has a good art and/or minigames. Might get noticed too.
Try to work hard at the world. Don't use bomb bots. Be nice to people.

Get your friends to join it all at the same time. If it gets more than like ~8 ish people or so, random ppl will join and then it will be popular

This will result in a snowball effect of people enjoying your level! Viewing your profile, I see "Freddy Fazbear", "RPG"s, and "Code is 1111" levels. I mean to be honest the most intriguing of any of these is Code is 1111, because anyone can do what they want, so the experience is hopefully new every time. Other than that, no originality, fun, or intrigue in sight. Note: a level that was released in the "new" era of EE and gets 1500+ plays is basically a resounding success. EE's userbase has shrunk phenomenally, so you basically are doing really well if each big level you release applying to the last 2-3 years, has an average of 1000-ish plays (EG. me ;3).
