It will be fantastic to run EE on phone or tablet! Yahoo Game Network allow that! Both for android and iOS!

That sounds like a great idea, but there should be some way to switch between moving your smiley and placing blocks when you tap on the screen.

I have a feeling this would not look good on anything less than a small tablet for building but may be alright for playing on smaller devices

That will be amazing and smart, but one more error, some people haven't got very big display (my display aren't very big)  , that have only 3 solutions : small blocks or less blocks on screen or Zoom in/out

I want mobile app too!

I say this wont be good try pm some staff and ask them I always talk toop about world folders on ee he said maybe after the unity update but who knows just text nvd and other staff and please ask them questions nothing of guard ee is not fast like oh I want this made just wait and ask and please don't fight I seen ee since 4  years and hope people have patience

Once the game is done in unity, it will probably be portable across multiple systems, including mobile. That will require extra work though. But I can see it working better on bigger displays, like already pointed out.
I believe the best port after computer versions would be a wii U one though, the gamepad touch screen is perfect for editing purposes, and it has all the controls needed for moving and other actions/shortcuts (toggle godmode, open smiley list, toggle chat, go to prev/next block from edit bar, etc.)
The closest thing I can think of is super mario maker, and it works quite well.

then what do you suggest

switching between moving and placing blocks, both done by pressing anywhere on the screen
but you know there could be different ways of movement to pick from in the settings, many mobile games support that
