Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Cursebot, for instance, is a good feature.
But why would he put it on a released bot? Shouldn't unique features be private?

T_T You only need one unique feature to make your bot stand out. GUI is not a bot feature, and if it doesn't/won't do anything different from any other public bot then there's no reason to release it.

It already stands out as being the only decently made bot released in ages. The only other publicly released bot that's been recently updated is NinjaBot. And it's, well, fairly broken in some aspects. Regardless, the GUI can very easily be considered a feature. Why else would you pick one web browser or media player over the other when many of them end up doing the exact same thing?
As I said earlier, just like there are non-functional requirements (eg. intuitive interface), those requirements, eventually turn into (non-functional) features, where you actually made an intuitive interface. It's something I actually have to document and make for my study, so I think it's safe to assume it's really a thing.

not advise putting a black hat on a smiley like you have done to the top of the topic.Just googled smiley. Than googled hat.
Put those 2 into paint. Made an icon. GGWP marten you bimps up... XD
Thought about it to be a little bit like big spender (the hat part)Alright, just suspicious because of the black hat.
But yeah, look forward to next version.
yes, because the best strategy I've heard in a long time is to warn your victims before you enact your plan.

This thread looks like some webpage that I found in the Dark Web. Shady logo lol.
But the bot seems cool. Now that NBot is gone something like this could easily be the new thing.
I'm surprised at this sudden defensiveness, given that every other generic bot released so far has been rawred at. This one just has a different wrapper.
I think isn't too easy to make new features in these days.
A new feature doesn't have to be a fully developed BAL. There are thousands of <100 line features that could be developed, most of which wouldn't be hard to code.

Don't hate on me for trying to get newbie botters to use their imagination and stop churning out the same things again and again. Is one checkbox, button or chat command that does a little something never before seen in a public bot so hard to add? Because if it isn't, then adding two new features isn't much harder, and eventually we can stop flogging this dead horse and give it a decent burial.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

And a different 1-2 letter combination for the name

I made this bot because I, as noob, could not find a good bot for my needs. Many public bots are broken. I decided to make my own.
The reason that I made this bot public is that I needed some feedback on it + I felt like it could help some people that just needed a simple bot with not that much new features but much loved features as snake and a decent win system.
It was fun to make and I tried to be somewhat original by making almost everything customizable by players.
The thing is that you as 'awesome pro bot coder' can write 'awesome new features'. This is my first bot so it was more about getting comfortable with the code, the things you can do in EE with a bot and getting some feedback on it.

If by "getting comfortable" you mean having lots of sources of code for reference that all do the same thing, then yeah, I suppose it's not surprising that everyone makes the same thing. Nevertheless, the knowledge gained from coding those features is pretty transferrable.
Meh. It doesn't have to be for this bot, but just make sure your public bot legacy is a little more memorable than most.

right now, there are 2 known bots. NinjaBot and MrBot(for some reason) though, they bouth have the same futures, in my point of view tomahawk is right

I'm glad someone finally did this once again, I planned on it a while back but I'm too lazy to work all that out. Nice bot. I've grown tired of programming bots for Everybody Edits.

Updated the bot to V1.2
Added a whitelist with some nice options, an automatic team assigner and some more stuff I personally enjoy to have in a basic bot.
Check the changelog for more info
Would love to get some feedback on it

DigBot pls?
I'm not going to add a digbot. I do not like digbot's and I'm trying to keep this bot somewhat 'simple'.
As you said, almost all public bot's have one so you can use one of those

I have released a new version of Mrbot, V1.3. Mostly some features just for the fun and some requested stuff.
Next update will probably be just cleaning up the code.
Check the change log on the topic for all the changes
Edit: Wow my 100th post

you forgot R42Bot++
Why do you always talk about your bot in every bots topic?
Does it even work on newest EE version? And one more note, your bot doesn't have multiple login methods.
And the GUI, it doesn't look good. Not much sorted and so on.

I don't always do it, It's just because people kinda forgot my bot exists
It does work in latest EE, and the login methods is something I am going to improve.
Yes I know the GUI is horrible, but it's not my fault Windows screws it up ;(

It's already in your signature... No need to put it in other people's topics.

Maybe add like a bomb feature that makes blocks explode? So you can make something like bomberman
How would it activate? Pressing a key or placed by the owner?
Not sure if I am going to add this but if there is enough support for it I will take a look at it.

Wait do you mean exploding rain? That's my idea! (I have that already in my bot xD, don't steal my idea please)

^Interesting you mention that.
DigBot is a pretty good example. FLD popularized it for sure.
People copied only the digging portion. It kept its popularity, though. Cool, huh? If I seem blunt, it's early.
I guess my point: the fact that it's your idea is nice, but stopping others' attempts isn't really possible. One option, of course, is to simply make yours impossible to compete with. Make it that awesome.
As opposed to splitting hairs on individual points.

Press spacebar 2 times to place a bomb thats my idea anyway
And can you add something to the bot like maybe add a trail of blocks when u walk around for games like using the trail of blocks to get a prize

If you would play it top-down view (like bomberman), you'd have to use dots so the players can move around. Sadly, you can't detect spacebar while on dots.
