Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

2x jump effect

When the number of jumps will be extended of the 2x jump effect?

I don't know the correct name, so I call it 2x jump.

Double-jump.

It wont. What you want? 3-jump? 4-jump? it is too overpowered. 2 jump is good

this game is a sandbox, whether something is overpowered or underpowered depends on the way world owner uses it. we can already make infinite jumps but this would allow them without placing double jump effect everywhere in the air

proc said on irc chat they will extend everything to 999, wish that wasnt a joke
srs tho at least a 5x jump would be cool

Yeah that would be great!! You would be able to switch between 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ∞

Re: 2x jump effect

or just allow to select any number, negative would jump you downwards instead of upwards, and you could select checkbox "infinity jumps" or something like that

Re: 2x jump effect

I don't think having a x999 jump is overpowered, if you consider the context. Consider trying to jump in a very small space, with spikes on the ceiling. It's not so easy with x999 jump now.

Re: 2x jump effect

Guys, you didint understand me. I said that 999 jumps is iverpowered because you dont need that many. You can just set Infinity jumps.

Who would use 999 jumps if you have infinity jumps, really?

I would like these options:
0 jumps, 1 jump, 2 jumps.. 3.. 4.. 14.. 15 jumps. and infinity jumps

Re: 2x jump effect

If your mini requires 15 jumps without landing, you may as well use infinity.

I don't think there's much of a need to count more than 5 jumps.

Re: 2x jump effect

What if your world consisted of gameplay where you had to complete each section with a limited amount of jumps? This would mean you would have to time your jumps to make you go further than just spamming jump. I doubt 999 is necessary though, maybe up to 99.

no one would count 99 jumps
to me 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and infinity jumps sounds best

What if you make a world where you don't touch the ground, but only use dots for stop points and limiting jumps is a way to determine difficulty, like easy - infinite, medium - 99, hard - 50.

Re: 2x jump effect

10 jumps is much better than infinite ones.

They said the duble jump was for testing, and maybe be implemented with more jumps.

so youre going to keep track of your jumps usage and count jumps all the way to 99 while doing minis?
i would maybe agree to something sick like 50 jumps (but no more) if there was some kind of counter that starts at max jump count and goes down by 1 after every jump in air

Well I think in that scenario you would just use as little jumps as possible. You wouldn't need to keep track of your jumps.

you still need to know how many jumps you used and how many jumps you can use for minis ahead... what if you used a bit too many of jumps on one of the minis and didnt notice that until you ran out of jumps and died on last mini? there has to be a jump counter
