Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Places to work on code collaboratively

My friend and I want to work on code collaboratively.
Currently, we are using kobra.io

Is there anything better? Preferably with a chat system that has timestamps

We tried that but it doesn't have chat. I don't want to have to be face to face with him

I don't like github for some reason... Can we work on it together live?

What's stopping you from using Skype, Teamviewer's built in VoIP, or some other solution at the same time?

You could always just go to his house.

Because it takes effort and he's not on tv all the time and I don't even use skype or anything so

Re: Places to work on code collaboratively

Well, you currently use kobra, which seems to do the job, otherwise all I can say is use github and some external chat program to communicate about when to pull and push.

Try VSAnywhere: https://vsanywhere.com/web/

It allows you to both work on the same piece of code simultaneously in Visual Studio, and the edits are shown real-time (similar to Google Docs.)
