it was originally a glitch and then it was requested to be a feature because short smileys are great

Tbh the forum mod colour is hard to distinguish from the member colour. What about a shade of blue?

depends on your theme
blue would probably be too close to carbon

the ee admins already blend in exactly on coal

and on radon idk, it is pretty close but u can still see the difference

mods could be turquoise?

Tiny update, a super annoying Adobe Stock Images ad that had a text input that auto-focused itself should be removed now.

Bunch of small updates today. Fixed up a bug where changes to CSS wouldn't show up for at most an hour, fixed 2 bugs making page loads slower (thanks to alphajon for reporting that), fixed our tor-blocking script, and I'm currently working on something that'll hopefully prevent an alt or two.

Alright, finished the alt-blocking thing and while I was in the neighborhood I updated the welcome PM to be less of a wall of text because it was kind of a wall of text before.

That'd probably turn it into more of a wall of text, making them less likely to read the PM at all, which was a massive problem with the last PM.

No, if anything I'd like to make it shorter. The smaller the PM, the less likely people are going to be scared off.
