Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Also why are some names bolded and some not? too lazy to find a pattern
Apparently bolded names are from Probably not a nub cool club.
This is a false statement.

Tbh the forum mod colour is hard to distinguish from the member colour. What about a shade of blue?

depends on your theme
blue would probably be too close to carbon
the ee admins already blend in exactly on coal
and on radon idk, it is pretty close but u can still see the difference
so uhh
mods could be turquoise?
and admins could be a lighter color yo. like this

Calm your chickadees, I'm planning on an option on the profile to turn it off.

Tiny update, a super annoying Adobe Stock Images ad that had a text input that auto-focused itself should be removed now.

Bunch of small updates today. Fixed up a bug where changes to CSS wouldn't show up for at most an hour, fixed 2 bugs making page loads slower (thanks to alphajon for reporting that), fixed our tor-blocking script, and I'm currently working on something that'll hopefully prevent an alt or two.

Alright, finished the alt-blocking thing and while I was in the neighborhood I updated the welcome PM to be less of a wall of text because it was kind of a wall of text before.
Welcome to the forums, <insert your name here>!
There's just a few things you should know to get started:
- You can't post links or images until your first post. Why not introduce yourself?
- Read the rules. Seriously, it'll pay off.
- If you had a forum account before, check out this topic to get your posts back.If you want to learn how to use the forums, here's some resources:
- If you want to make links or format your text, check out Forum Mod Zoey2070's lovely guide.
- If you want to use EE smilies on the forum, here's a handy list.
- If you're posting a new topic, it's a good idea to read the stickies in the forum you're posting in.That's about it! If you need anything else, just ask. You can reply to the PM here, I promise I'll respond back as quick as I can.
See you around,

I am still taking suggestions on improving this.

maybe you should put a simplified list of rules in that pm cus players might be too lazy to click the link whether it will pay off or not

That'd probably turn it into more of a wall of text, making them less likely to read the PM at all, which was a massive problem with the last PM.

well what kind of improvements you need then? i thought it was too short and you wanted to make it longer
hmm what about putting a link to a list with forum and game staff or just making a list in the pm?

No, if anything I'd like to make it shorter. The smaller the PM, the less likely people are going to be scared off.

I am pretty sure they already are sent to the rules during registration.

Can confirm: people must agree to the rules before they ever see the registration page.
