I'm a nub apparently. Bug fixes and the like are nice, and the game should encourage new players.

I said bug fixes are super important and the game should encourage new players with better campaigns but I also said that new nubs shouldn't get a discount on shops or second chances at limited time smilies so apparently that all adds up to a benjaminson.

I was against the limited time smileys being available again, but I didn't mind shop discounts because frankly it takes too long to get anything so you can actually begin building anything.

Eh, yeah you got a point there.

I got reeich. I expected to be closer to the centre tbh.

btw your troll question could be improved. It makes two different points: one says that trolling is an important aspect of the game, and one says that there is no need for tools that mitigate trolling; players should be smart about who they give edit to. You could easily disagree with one point and agree with the other.

Ok I'll announce a date so that I have an obligation to actually start it on time:

March 24th, 2016. That is when campaigning will begin. Until then you are allowed to make propaganda and platforms and whatever but you're just not allowed to start campaigning until the 24th. Doing so may block you from participating.

Here's basically how it will work:
There will be the two main parties, the Benjaminsons and Noubs, which you can sign up to campaign for easily. However, only one candidate from either party will make it to the general.

You can also run as an independent party. If you want to run as an independent party, you must make a coherent platform regarding at least 8 issues which are listed here:

Should name changes cost money?
Should people be banned for trolling?
Should ingame moderators be appointed by the community?
Are there too many staff members?
Should chat cost money again?
Are bots a valuable addition to the game?
Should staff be kickable from worlds?
Should EE focus on its role as a platforming game?
Should the shop be more easily accessible to new players with discounts and bonuses?
Should exclusive smileys be made available again through new opportunities?
Should staff be more seriously reprimanded for giving away free items at no personal expense?
Should the rules be made more lenient than they are today?
Should updates focus more on tweaks and fixes or new content?
Should more easy difficulty campaigns be introduced to the campaign roster to balance game difficulty?
Regarding gender diversity and neutrality, are the smileys fine as they are now?
Should bugs in the physics engine be fixed, even if it breaks some minigames?
Should more tools be added to the game to mitigate trolling?
Should world text be made available to everybody, rather than just staff?

(Feel free to suggest more questions if you have any on more issues. Questions should be focused on the game, not the forums or chat.)

In your platform you have to discuss the reasoning behind your decisions rather than just simple yes or no answers.

Three independent parties will make it to the general.

You have to sign up and be approved by me to run as a Noub/Benjaminson/Independent so that you can participate in debates, be included in official polls, and be included on the ballot for the primaries.

So yeah, I think that's enough information to prepare anybody who wants to join on day one.
