I don't think so - it seems like when a good level is in the lobby, many (most) players progress past the first mini. In the past, if a good level was in the lobby, the vast majority of players would give a few attempts to the first mini and then ragequit. It was always the same few users that would actually be able to do minigames beyond extremely simple jumps.

Thats because most people left and the good people stayed. EE population is at 1000 the lowest it can be. This game is dieing and i blame email confirmation

This could be one of the last things that is causing this game to die, seriously nearly every game has e-mail confirmation...

I also noticed something similar though, and I don't think it's bad people leaving the game. I don't know why either, it could possibly be the campaigns and people having a reason to play those levels so they just got better.

Honestly it's been through a lot of hard work and dedication to perfecting the art of button mashing. Don't worry kid, someday you'll get there if you just make sure to stick with it. Don't get discouraged! There's a lot of skill to it, admittedly, but if you just keep practicing I'm sure you'll be able to catch up to us!!

Fewer players are joining, so there are fewer new players in the worlds, meaning a greater proportion of the players you see are "veterans" compared to what you would have seen in previous years.

Also, in EE, like any game, your skill is pretty much completely dependent on how much you play. If you've been away from the game for a while, other players had the chance to practice while you couldn't.

Kongregate.com doesn't do e-mail confirmation. (Although it should) You can play EE on Kongregate and you can make a Kongregate account in 5 seconds to have an account for EE. E-mail confirmation really can't be to blame if there is a way around it.
