Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Feature where you can turn on or off smiley collision
When it's turned on, smileys are treated as moving blocks so essentially other smileys can block you, jump on you etc.
Would make co-op maps interesting
Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

But the downside of all this is another method of trolling
If there is an exploit in the level, it's the world owner's fault. Like when someone key spams, there's usually a key somewhere that is too easy to access.

But you can turn it on or off, that remedies every single problem this ever had.

It's easy to make people only able to touch keys once
In this case it takes a group of people to block any size gap in a level. atm the only prevention of this I can think of is have large entrances + exits or only vertical pathways
There probably are a bunch other ways around it, but it just makes it a little bit less convenient for map building.
But yeah, you just need a more competent map builder. Some newer players would get their minis clogged up on the first try with the tool. Ah well, that's just a learning curve.

Players could troll others blocking them somewhere, they could even block somebody without blocks near to them, two on both sides and one on top.
Imagine spawn with lots of afkers

hmm this could work with people that are afk or bots

If that can happen you have a bad world creator. Maybe it should be an effect block so the spawn thing doesn't happen.

I think this should be an effect block rather than a setting, as having a whole world might restrict access to some places like with 1x1 block passages
Do we treat smileys as squares or circles regarding collision? Also, yay double / triple jumps! That would be fun for many coops.
I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

circles would probably be a better option

Well smileys have a square collision box with other blocks - and it would be easier to interpret quickly.

Definitely squares. I don't think EE supports circular boundaries
The more lag, the better!
Actually, there's always going to be too much latency for this to work perfectly.
EDIT: Especially since physics are client-sided.

Why would he even ask it if he knew circles wouldn't be supported? It seems just like a preference question more than anything.
I think circles would be great if the smileys are able to be pushed, however it would also make it nearly impossible to jump on top of people, which would be cool too. I see positives and negatives to both, it really depends how people want the collisions to act. Either way would be good in my opinion.

this could create some really neat maps for people to enjoy
i like but it's probably super difficult to implement

what if someone just stands there?
i sort of assumed you could push people.
maybe it should take two or three players to push another.

Maybe like an effect, so 1 room you would have to climb to get a key so everybody can move forward.
