Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Level History ***UPDATE***

***UPDATE***
Lame said no. :c
rP0dpZK.png

I'm not sure if this would be a good addition or a bad one.

So what I'm thinking is when you're in a world you can see the process of how it was made and the saves by clicking an arrow on the minimap.
Of course, the world owner would have the option to disable this or not.

Basically you press the left arrow and it will go back to what the minimap looked like the previous save, then press the arrow again to see the save before that save. This will allow players to see the stages of the level and also see if it was EE Artisted or not.

EXAMPLE: (pretend I can edit) ((look at minimap))

Well the owner should be able to choose which saves to show.
ex.) Show only 5 saves ago or show only the ones before the 5 saves.

* Why would anyone spam the save button?

This is a neat idea, people can see the process their maps were made and make a gif out of it and such.

Great idea. Feels more like a tool (a good thing) this way.

If you can restore to previous saves sure!
i'd love it if one world had like 20 save slots or something though, to which one can restore at any given moment.

Re: Level History ***UPDATE***

I don't think that's necessary.
There's people who save their worlds ALL the time, like me for example, ALL.THE.TIME (at least when i'm doing something)
And if the person wants to make a gif, he can just download a program and take screenshots from the computer screen when he wants to.

The storage could barely hold 300x300 worth of worlds, doubt this is even possible.

Re: Level History ***UPDATE***

They did change the format so that it could hold 300x300, but yeah it's quite a lot if you have 20 different versions of a 300x300 world.

300x300 hardly fit with new improved format. No way to fit history here.

Re: Level History ***UPDATE***

There are bots that do this. Storage isn't an issue for them because the map versions are saved to your PC.

Not entirely sure, but capasha and hexagon maybe did one each.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Re: Level History ***UPDATE***

Previous save could be stored in the client, you would only be able to see the saves in your session but sometimes you do want to see what you have previously saved - could be useful.

But given thanes's stand point of this I think that halting it to only a "small" world would be bad because the other worlds would be in a sense "outdated".

lol but then AnatolyEE brings up a point. Would stacking data in the client slow it down? I mean ideally it wouldn't but idk how flash stores stuff. (or how well)

I mean this server thing isn't impossible, if you're willing to fork over the space lol. Could always spread it across multiple keys... a WorldSaves DB to hold on to all the individual save keys... and then just a ton more keys for all the saves.

Re: Level History ***UPDATE***

Go full hardcore and manually copy world versions to other worlds you own =3

But rly, a bot is by far the simplest way to do this.

As.. I am asking for 400th times: How do you open a bot? Any bots i open on my devicde crash without even being opened. Should I do something like unpacking them?
