.net framework

hey yall...
I was wonderin about that . net and I have a surface and my computer isn't compatible with .net 3.0 or 3.5 (I can only have 4.9)
since I really wanna use ee artist... what do I do?

I'm not sure, since I never ran any bot other than mine, but .net are supposed to stay compatible with previous versions, I think (If you have 4.9 installed, you should be able to run 3.0 and 3.5 apps)
Maybe try running in compatibility mode as 7/Vista/XP (I know XP runs 3.5 and 4, so maybe it's the way to go)

Or ask for someone to make EE Artist in fancy 4.9 format

Then download EEArtist and change framework and compile.

I can't change my .net to 3.5. It crashes when I try to download it.

Almost! You also need to have the matching CLR installed. There are two common versions of the .net runtime, CLR v2.0 (For .NET 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5) and CLR v4.0 (For .NET 4.0 / 4.5 / 4.6 ).

It should be possible to compile EEArtist against CLR 4.0 if you get someone to compile it for you.

It would be easier if you just installed the other runtime from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download … aspx?id=21. (I am assuming you were trying to install .net 3.5 from windows update)
