Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I have recently got Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio Online, I'm planning to make the full revamp of JoshBot, fit for EE 2.0, Note that there is NO release yet, so if you were looking for a bot, look at the title *cough* plans *cough*.

OS REQUIREMENTS SO PEOPLE CAN COMPLAIN EARLIER:
Windows 7+ with .NET framework 4.6+
A processor that isn't 16 bit
other complicated technical stuff that i dont even need to put here

Here's a spotty list of new features for you guys (list subject to change and some features may not be listed)

What will it do?
God help us all if it's another NinjaBot.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

You're implying that NinjaBot is bad? D:
I'd say "God help us if it's another generic snake admin bot"
y'know, let's make a button for every possible eventuality. let's add keys... and crowns... and commands... and boxes... even though that all is provided in EE anyway.

I know, NinjaBot has ORIGINAL stuff! Why do people call it BAD! D:

Guys, Ninja got a bit bad publicity in the beginning with his bombing and his type of advertisement.
Many people can't forget a first impression easily, so just get on with it.
Everybody has their own opinion and his differs from yours, unless you're going to actually DISCUSS whether it's bad or not, there's no point saying anything at all...
Childish "na-ah, ya-ah" stories don't get you anywhere, in case you didn't notice...

Ahh *holds open jaws as to speek* ... *puts hand on jaw and closes it*... Y'know, I just want to put some elaborate words in this post that make you change the way you think of me by us all being humans... but, I don't know just... what to, say exactly.

the way you think of me.
Nobody's talking about you, they are talking about your bot.

I was just explaining why some people have a bad image about your bot. your bot does have some original functions.
I have never tried your bot myself, like all other bots not made by me, so I can't really say anything appart from that you made mistakes in the past, but that your bot isn't completely like all other bots.
I wasn't talking crap about your bot or anything.

God help us all if it's another NinjaBot.
Your words have made me ponder, mourn, groan, weep, be angered to fustration, and almost think a suicidal thought.
I have worked over a month over that bot, and only 1 woot. I'm crying, while eating bread and writing this message.
I can't explain my feelings to you, so don't ponder over it long.

I wasn't saying that, I was just saying that because of the bad publicity, I wanted to say something to make everybody... forget about the bad publicity, and or change the way they see me...
In all, I'm sorry if I sound crazy or like an unexplained whining child, but those are just my thoughts.

you're crying over 1 woot?... How old are you exactly?
Tomahawk just doesn't, like most of us who have already been through the nubbot phase, like bots that are nub.
Maybe if you actually make an original bot you wouldn't be disliked.
thanks zoey aaaaaaaaaaaand thanks latif for the avatar

So you saw how many "try catches" he used too? haters gonna hate.

try-catches aren't that bad... At least they won't make your program get a fatality, but you can silently handle it. The way HOW you handle it is the harder part though.

No. Please no.
Okay guys, I'm sick of you fighting and giving something called 'constructive criticism' but now it's turning to 'rude and right out mean criticism' so please STOP.

try-catches aren't bad, besides, if I made a calc with no try-catches, it would give a error if you typed a equation (THIS IS A SIMPLE CALC SO DONT GET UPSET) a+b it would throw an error of those not being convertable to Int32 (or whatever int you use)

We really should teach the ways of exceptions.
In your particular case, the cleaner way is int.TryParse(string, out int) -- this returns a bool.
I'm no expert, though.
100,000,000 iterations:
legit string, try/catch: 10.97s
legit string, int.tryparse: 11.37s
10,000 iterations:
illegit string, try/catch: 34.7s
illegit string, int.tryparse: 0.000986s
tested in debug mode, changed iterations because do you SEE THAT TIME?
If your data is unquestionably pristine and without flaw, then you're minutely better off without any error protection.
If you actually have reason to not trust user input validity, then int.Tryparse is a much more efficient test. However, if you get right down to it, each error in the try/catch only costs you a tiny 3.47 ms. At our measly scale of EE programming, you're probably not going to cry over that.
For those interested, more data and livelier discussion on stackoverflow. However, the argument made there is more concerning proper programming technique, which (concerning this audience) likely falls on deaf ears for those who haven't already heard.
oops, thread is off track again. Hmm.

Back to the thread topic maybe? I.E. Josh's bot, not Ninja's, however excellent his code may be.
