Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Now stop making the Mods mad, Thanks
Me and Jawapa were having this conversation
As you can see players are REALLY starting to get on their nerves... **** them off will only make us wait longer for the update because we are causing them stress by rushing them and screaming UPDATE. I know I did this but I'll stop because I now see what is going on in there minds. Asking for when the update is will only make it longer. Go outside, do something fun while your waiting! Don't stay on ee searching for mods in worlds just to ask when the update is.
It will be done when it's done.

Doctor, I have a problem. Everything I see around is people talking about EE 2.0 being delayed, nothing else. They're even making pointless topics instead of starting a good discussion. I have a feeling I'm the only not hyped in EE 2.0. Is it serious?
Isn't it enough EE 2.0 discussion topics?
This is a false statement.

Protip: Next time don't set release dates (mods) so people don't riot.
I'm upset, but I'm not rioting. I don't see the point. Its just putting more pressure on them which may rush them and there'll be alot of bugs.

He said JAWAPA, I believe.
Honestly, the craze about the update isn't justified.
However, just or not, the fact remains that y'all brought it on yo'selves. As anch159 said, if we didn't know of an update, there would be nothing to get **** about. Plus, there's the added benefit of "ooh, this stuff is awesome and unexpected!"

OK, from now on, let's just do no more tomorrow and no more "In a couple hours" until everyone is absolutely 100% sure that it will be. This will solve all the problems of people expecting it each and every day. It'll save everyone a lot of stress and disappointment.

I have a better idea! Lets just say when it's done! Then everyone will be 100% that's correct

I have a better idea. Never say it will be an update "tomorrow" maybe "today".
It's kids in this game, and they think the update will come when you guys are writing like that.
If you guys just shut the mouth and don't say "tomorrow" "today" and so on.
I'm really tired at hearing it also. Makes me rage IRL:

I'm not sure which part of my message gives you that idea. If I'm understanding you correctly, "the craze about the update isn't justified" (in my view) means that no, people should not be pestering anyone for the update, be it one person twenty times or twenty people one time.
But, I see how your actions have brought this about. (So does everyone else who says "don't tell us there's an update soon if there isn't one")

Well in this particular case, it's been a month or two(?) since the last update. If we don't say that there is one, or that we're working on one, we get nagged, "when is next update" "you need to make update" "plz mak mor ^dat". It's a lose/lose situation.

I didn't see much of anything about the update until the teaser. Even then, though, there wasn't nearly as much as there is now.

I don't think anybody should be surprised that a game full of 8-14 year old children has this type of problem.
Everybody is excited, and you know what kids do when they are excited? They talk and ask questions a lot. They want to know everything about what they are excited about. This is like Christmas, but on a smaller scale.
They don't understand that the mods know the community wants the update and are already working hard. So they bug them hoping it will make it come faster.
Mods: "Hey kids we're going to the circus tomorrow!"
Next day:
Kids: "When do we go to the circus?"
Mods: "Oh, they had trouble with the tent today, maybe tomorrow."
Kids: "Whines"

Am I the only one who's thankful that an update is even coming out to begin with?

It's coming out mid-September. Any earlier than that will be a gift

like premature birth?
Now I'm imagining Nou giving birth to the update and being like "No! You can't be born too soon or you will not survive outside my womb!"

Most programmers in this situation plan fixed updates every month. If they're working on something BIG and the update is not ready by the deadline, they'll release a very small part of it (say cat smiley and abolishing woot system). The update is there, the community is happy, the staff does not get bigged about it and they have another month or so to polish the update!

I'm honestly more annoyed by people who are **** about the update than the late release of it.
The update will come, that's the only thing we know. All we can do is waiting, deal with it.
I might normally agree with you Kira, but I sort of am enjoying the sounds of the complaints, because it means they care about EE and want to enjoy it and have fun with it and are disappointed they can't do it sooner. It is like how a fever is a sign your body is healing from a sickness or when you vomit when you get food poisoning: the complaints are a sign that EE is becoming healthy again with renewed hope.

The best thing to do is ignore those annoying players (aka. newbies) that keep spamming: 'Omg omg nvd nou omg!!! when is the update!!!11 omg ogm'
We don't want the update to be rushed, otherwhise, EE will break in some features...
We wan't it fully operational, not rushed. Ignore the newbies...
