Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Lastly, setting teams would work as:
/team [player] [teamid]
Either in /help /team it should specify teamid = teamname, or the command should be like:
/team [player] [teamid/teamname]
Just to make it easier.
(Or i didnt understand you when you said "teamid")

0 = none, 1 = red, 2 = blue, 3 = green, etc. Same order you get when switching through the teams.

Everything that is available through the GUI should also be available through a command and vice-versa, in my opinion. Many people are more keyboard-inclined and so clicking on GUI elements is a bit of a hassle for common tasks.

Add hasedit to "add"
You already know that.
Only the owner has edit when joining a room, and the owner's name is send in the init message.
So just check if it's the owner.
False ... did you realise that the bot might join after other players?

Smart one...
Never make public bots and it's always my bots that give edit, so that's why I'd never need it.
In that case: support.

Well , i like to run my bot in debug mode and restarting it causes it to loose that data of course ( i could probably store it , anyway) then uppon rjeoining it'd naturally give admins edit , which in turn just comes as spam to them since they can already edit (same scenario if the bot woudl crash durring run)
Edit: please add the ability to set the value of a specific switchid per player as worldowner

If the game could detect any key pressed, this would be helpful for bots and such in many ways. "Press 1 for yes, 2 for no". They don't have to do anything in-game, but mainly for bot use.

You can use quickchat to detect alt gr + number

'privacy mainly'
Then do as EE already does. Users don't move when they're sending chat messages. Similarly, don't send bots your keystrokes if you don't want them known.
Unless you like to talk to yourself... by writing... with the box closed... "privacy" has been fully upheld.
Those who can't do, teach.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.
I think fish is nice, but then I think that rain is wet, so who am I to judge?
For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.

I can't really answer "wtf you talking about". I'm not even sure if you're expressing pure confusion or simply trying to discredit my solution without addressing it directly.
The best I can respond with is completely restating what I've already said. I could even change the wording. But I don't even know if that will achieve anything.
Ever notice that you can talk about war, art, science, and design in the chat without your smiley moving? Opposite, ever click outside the chat box to move? Does the chat get manipulated?
Or perhaps you took issue with preserving privacy outside of the swf. Ever find that your smiley has continued moving after you let go of the respective key?
I hope that this response was more productive than "wtf do u not get idiot"

This defeats the purpose of having/creating bots -.-

gooberg123, an interesting point you're contending.
All things in moderation. (the literal kind. we don't need people in charge of every aspect of life)
In this case, as long as we don't make "Features" that completely encompass ideas, we haven't defeated the purpose of bots. Further, unless the "feature" is chat-based, a bot connection is required to send the command.
In this case, I think the idea is to make additions that have multiple applications. A bot having the ability to send a rectangle is an example of many such uses. However, if we asked for a "Feature" that provided a server-supported snake, we'd be "defeating the purpose".

I see. Though still, in general, I don't want EE devs screwing around with anything that has to do with bots, I believe they should leave it as it is. I haven't really heard and complaints about how the bots work.
We the players.

I suggest /reset {PLAYER}. It would be nice only resetting certain players.
EDIT:
How about a command that resets everything, but doesn't teleport the player? Optional parameter can be a Username or UserID.

So, the thread is de-stickied because -- the ideas are no longer considered? The thread is too derailed? Did I miss the explaining post?
