I can't use custom fonts. I can only use websafe fonts.

I too am clueless as to why so many people hate Comic Sans. I really don't get it.

The reason the font became so taboo is explained in the link that I linked above. Extreme over misuse and misunderstanding of the intricacies of such things causes backlash. It would be like me wearing a tutu to a job interview... it only works if you're applying for the job of a ballerina.

I agree, ee's theme is pixels, whats wrong with a pixelated font, if you don't like Arial?

web safe means that nearly all computers support them. Not that they are any less "safe"

Hmm, it appears that Yahoo finally fixed part of the font issue.

I can't exactly use custom fonts... but I can import them from http://google.com/fonts

So, I'll search those.

i hate the new cursive font, it doesn't fit the cartoonish style of everything else
comic sans was fine, just because it's a funny maymay and half of the internet uses it incorrectly doesn't mean it's wrong here
but then again i never saw the website with comic sans so

The main website has Comic Sans.

The ee.com/JaWapa/ has some random cursive on it.

Is it just me or are handwritten fonts just generally unappealing?

Especially for EE, since it doesn't fit with the game's aesthetic at all.

There was no hesitation. Just an unawareness.

A few weeks ago, gamesnet didn't allow font imports. Now they do, however I can't use @font-face; only @import.

...and comic sans is right for ee. if ee was some high-class luxury hotel then comic sans wouldn't be right for it, but thankfully ee is just a cartoonish game about yellow heads placing blocks.

I agree, but there is a huge hatred for it on the web, and might be off-putting to certain new players from joining.
