I don't see why a public apology is necessary.

In fact, an apology from a superior (or equal, if there are no superiors) is better in my opinion.

If an employee messes up, the manager comes and fixes is, and if there is no manager, another employee does. In a company, the PR person often handles situations.

I think Nou's post is more than adequate. Public apologies are unnecessary, especially since we were not directly affected by this much. I am sure private apologies were made.

The whole forum was put into maintenance mode. You might just have not noticed or didn't mind / care.
In my opinion it's wrong to censor anything anywhere, even if I disagree.

Nou didn't spoke for NVD.

NVD messed up, NVD stands for his actions and pays responsibility and does not hide behind Nou, like a child.
That's how it should be.

If NVD's going to give you an apology, then wait for him to do so. If he's not, it's not going to do you any good continuing to post in this thread asking about it. Go ask him personally or get someone else to ask him if he's not replying to you...

An apology would be nice, but the problem itself has already been dealt with, and I think everyone is pretty much over the lack of apology. Does NVD's apology really mean that much to you?
