So regarding this drama. Yes NVD gave someone some free stuff. No he shouldn't have done that. We're undergoing some changes in staff and we had to establish some ground rules, of which one was also not giving free poop. NVD removed the free stuff after we had the conversation and he apologized for his unprofessional behaviour, then someone posted this:

He panicked, wasn't sure how to fix it, did something stupid, deleted posts. More posts popped up, deleted again, all in a panic. This was incredibly dumb, but all part of learning. It's hard to stay sane in a panic. After the talk it hasn't happened again and it won't either. Now can we please stop the unnecessary drama?

There's nothing in the terms of conditions that would have stopped an admin from giving or removing a product from someone's account. While it is un-ethical, it is not against the terms of conditions legally.

To be honest, censoring the whole forum, even turning it off, giving me a warning, - there should be at least a apology by him.
If I would not have reposted this ~10 times - nobody would have seen this.

This is not drama, this is more like users fighting to be heard.
But yes, let's tag this as drama. It's easier.
Just don't make it happen again.

…so? I don't think they were planning on suing him into an apology, so that's pretty much irrelevant.

I was helping the old ee staff with all kind of rules based on my years of experience as team lead for a software developer, working as and with volunteers around me. However, rules I sent in were nullified for no apparent reason.

I did*, and I would still like to see a official statement by NVD to take responsibility for his actions.
Sure there might be places where it was worse, but GMod is a way bigger game than EE, too.
What's so hard in saying "s o r r y" dear moderators and administrators? It's about being respectful.

*EDIT: also I don't think this was by any means a issue between me and him.

I think NVD should not have removed beta from niadilla, and instead buy it for them.

If I went to a store, and one of the managers/owner directly gave me something for free, then I went to the store a few days later and they wanted it back I am not forced to give it back to them and it would be unprofessional for them to ask for it back, if they directly gave me the item.
