I think it is time for me to say goodbye to Everybody Edits. The five years I have spent on EE have been fun. I've got to meet a lot of interesting people, have new experiences, and have learned quite a lot. In the past few months one of the things I have learned is that I have no business on EE. I have no reason to be part of the staff. Since being made a guardian, in Sept. 2014, I have yet to code one line, or draw one graphic for EE. I have been asked what my job is on EE so many times; and I guess the answer is... I don't have one. I make sure people are following the rules, that's about it. I don't really have anything to offer to EE. When shoe asked me to help with the game, I should have told him no. I honestly have no idea what I was thinking when I excepted it. I just wanted to help, but had nothing to offer.

There are a few reasons for leaving: I can't handle the stress from being downgraded every time I turn around, I've completely trashed my name, So many people despise my actions, and I've lost a lot of friendships.

I want to apologize for my questionable actions. I know it doesn't fix everything, but I still apologize for it.

Therefore, I am resigning from the EE staff, and leaving EE. I think I've caused enough problems and see no reason in staying.

Thank you for making it fun. I hope EE continues to grow again to it's former glory.

Before the flame. First off, not gonna try and convince you to stay, as it seems you've made up your mind. However, I think this would mull over better as a blog post than a forums post (because you know how us forumers can be!) May you hopefully not rest in flames.

A mod, especially like you, leaving is not a small news. It is big news. Really really big news.
Just wait, many people will try to bring you back and spam the forums. The forums will be full of "JaWapa is leaving! NO JAWAPA COME BACK" things and other **** which you don't want.
The best thing you can do is leave silently. Stop logging in slowly. People won't notice. If you don't want this forum to be filled with those u gotta delete this thread before everybody sees it.

I personally didn't have issues with you. I don't know why you thought you have done disservice, but you provided ideas to implement to EE that helped lead EE to a better future.

You don't have to be sad. He is just continuing with his life. He isn't gonna die now or something! Cheer up guys! Him leaving is not gonna do something to you! Also, there is the new dev team! Levitation effects, jump effects, teams and more (ok, they did't work that hard on the smileys). JaWapa is just continuing with his life. One day, you will leave EE too. And maybe others will be sad like this too. If you receive spam about something you left behind in life and moved forward, you won't like it. Just don't ask him to come back. It's just gonna make things worse. He has already made up his mind. Do you think he will leave all of a sudden cuz he just thought, "Oh, what a boring day, I wanna leave EE"?

Come back to your senses! Be happy with what you have! You still have TOOP for the updates!

1). I think you're running from your problems
2). If you wanted to do more of EE you could have(Just ask if you can...)
3). idk how old you are, so i can understand if you didn't wanna get involved for school purposes etc..
4). You did make some decent changes to EE even if some are upset about them, i find them to be pleasing
5). I also find you're seeking for people to say sorry for what they said about you, which is why you came to the forums and made a level about you leaving. Look at every other moderator in this game and when they left.

Very mature way to go, it takes guts to do some introspection and make big decisions based on it, and I respect that. Good luck in the future and see you ingame sometime (I mean come on, no-one can really quit EE).

I am sad to see you go , you have always been my favorite mod. Not because your leaving, no you were my favourite mod because the way that you could speak to people in a reasonable way even though you were being trashed , you always kept a smile on your face and kept going but as we can see everyone has their limits and I am sorry you have reached yours. Everyone makes mistakes but one mistake is not the end of the world, besides making sure people are following the rules, answering users questions volutarily few hours/day is still a demanding job, I'm sure there would have been a lot more for you in the future and add up to this. Just think at this, RPGMaster2000 did graphics for EE now and then but he was helping the community more just by making himself available and ready to answer questions or help with all sorth of problems. You shouldn't quit. Even if you quit as a guardian it's silly to quit EE, you can still enjoy!

We'll miss you, Jawapa! For what its worth, I thought that you were the one moderator who I thought actually could connect with the community, which is definitely a good and needed thing. That being said, if you want to quit, then I wish you luck in whatever you do next

But Nou is right, its like Greendale from Community, nobody ever leaves

EDIT: Keep in mind that this community is ridiculous and backwards, so if they're upset at you for something, you're probably doing it right.

Wow, this sucks . I thought you did plenty of things as staff, answering questions, fixing some things, and keeping users "in line" isn't nothing. I hope you reconsider, but I know it's your decision.

We're sad that you're leaving, Jawapa. Even though you do not have a specific job within EE, it is still nice to have another guardian around, offering assistance when necessary. Since your position is purely voluntary, you can't be draining any financial resources within Everybody Edits. However, if you feel that you need to spend time elsewhere, I respect your decision.

I hope your decision wasn't based upon #JaWapaCopy. If it was, you could consider creating a new identity, and start from the beginning.
