Has EX Crew brought EE back to life? Or...

Although being inactive for 2.5 years, EX Crew unveils their new and improved EX Crew Shift which sparks high numbers in the lobby from a day to day basis.
With the current changes in staff and developers of the game we have seen an influx of user activity and a huge forum revival. 'Going back to when worlds were created out of pure fun and collaboration the game was more active and interesting. With every crew seeking for a successful launch of their world and solo artists/plat formers , the game boomed and was constantly an active environment. My question is this; Has EX Crew brought EE back to life? Or is it the progressive movements of the game in its latter years?

Please reply with knowledgeable accusations.

I think it was the update that brought EE back. Shift just manages to steal people's attention from what else is going on in EE.

No we didn't. I just talked to nou when I saw the game being updated and having a new dev team and they all came back shortly after - I suppose Nou brought the others back.

I think it is more the fact that EX crew still has contact with each other. When they found out that there were updates and new devs, they said "hey, check it out."

For me, Meganub brought me back. Well, rather, he said thecoolguy wanted to ask me something, so I logged in and then stayed for a bit.

Though the forums down for me yesterday solidified that I'm not in it for the game. I was so bored without the forums.

Yeah, i definitely think it was the update that brought EE back 'from the brink', for now at least. EX crew shift is all nice and good but I wouldn't say that it or the fabulous EX crew members 'saved' EE.

Interesting fact: Meganub, eph, and I would always say "nou" to each other (meaning "no, you") before playing ee. When I first met nou I was like OMG ITS A WILD NOU!

On a related note, Nou, I would be curious to see who people think is in EX Crew without looking at the member list.

Well, in the first day of Ex Crew Shift has coming back on EE, and almost no one knew about that I check "EX" I've found Ex Crew Shift, I was surprised becouse I saw nvd and ultrabass chatting in it. The world had 3 players not couting me. I was checking old ultrabass and nvd chat and I saw somthing that ultrabass said "when ex crew shift has gone ee dead." or somthing like that, so I think yes. Nou is like from the bible I mean EE bible. [If you don't know story how nou saved the world then dont even read this.]
