Let me make something very clear:

Olympic athletes train years for the Olympics. They put in blood, sweat, and tears to make it to the top. Once they get to the event, GUESS WHAT??? Only the first 3 players get something. You don't see Olympic athletes throwing hissy fits for losing something they worked years for. Yet here you are, throwing tantrums for working at most a few days on pixels in a video game and not getting in the top 10.

In the real world, not everyone wins. Deal with it.

In the Olympic games there are proofs that the winners really won. For example in a race, the first who passes the black and white line wins.

In this game one person must think which world is the best. In a race, you can see who touches the black and white line. In this game you can´t; you can only trust the judge.

And that has to be enough. They're not going to change anything at this point, so you all should just accept it and move on. Toop told us what the levels would be judged on, and we have to assume he judged fairly.

The Halloween competitions judging didn't go very well either.

I'm sure that if there are more contests in the future the mods will be better at handling how the judging works. Also, the forum staff will have to be more strict just after the results are announced, possibly adding a new rule prevents complants about who wins competition.

That's why I suggest a community award. Over on Beatport, (yes I know that's for remixes though) remixes are judged, and then there is a prize for the person with the most community votes as well.

People just complain because they didn't win something in a kids game. They also most likely didn't win the Halloween, Easter, Bot, etc contests either. Just because you submitted a world doesn't mean you are going to win.
Toop judged ~150 worlds in 2 days. That means he had to be super strict to get the contest over with.
Also I don't see why you are hating on toop. "my level should have won a higher place!" that is your OPINION and not Toop's opinion. Everybody has different opinions on what world should have won.

Anyways, good job to all of the winners. I don't care if this gets re judged or not because I didn't participate.

I like how all the pronoobz + winners of the contest are all like "omg FAIRFAIR" denying reality. A mod pmed me on EE saying that the contest was intended to attract new players by letting them win (that's why so many of the winners are considered "noobs") - and it worked. There is a much higher number of people on the forums, EE's userbase has increased, there are a ton more people who are addicted to it cause of the contest and now EE has grown slightly. It worked. But that doesn't make up for everyone's countless love, time, and effort wasted because this contest was merely a ploy.

Also, to the people clammoring ALL HAIL TOOP OUR GRORIOUS CREATOR WHO WALKED ON THE SUN AND CREATED THE BURGER!! - you're completely defeating the point of this topic. It's a contest result COMPLAINING topic, NOT a praising/positivity one. If you want to be fakely positive about it with a clay-face made from encrusted bullpewp -cough- failgirl101 -cough- make an Official Contest Results Praising Topic.
