Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Let's make Everybody Edits 3D! In rooms, you could press the E key or the R key to rotate the screen view 90 degrees. With this feature, we could make our cities larger, and we could give our worlds a sense of depth. You would need to buy this feature in the shop, both the ability to go through 3D worlds in 3D and to make you levels 3D. Mini maps will also rotate when you do. Please consider this idea. It might be hard to program in, but it would certainty make Everybody Edits a much better place. Note to Mods: PM me for more details.
This sounds like a cool idea.
This would also make editing a lot longer and annoying. Also general game-play will we extremely confusing.
This has been suggested before many times.
Obligatory piece of text placed here forcing you to load an extra 100 bytes of data per post I make.

it will make editing much longer and tedious (tedious is long and time consuming) but now our worlds will really become worlds. Is our real world 2D? No! So why should our EE Worlds be 2D? Well 2D is getting boring. Let's make it 3D!
ee is a platform game, not a 3d game. is nice how it is, lets keep it original
ee is a platform game, not a 3d game. is nice how it is, lets keep it original
Platforms can be 3D, it is just not seen very often. Besides, this game is more of a Massive Multi player Sandbox game, and not as much of a platform game. Besides, we are ready for some firsts and innovation in the gaming world.
3D Everybody Edits is what everyone needs. We can create universes. I would finally be able to make my spherical planets in the EE universe. Cities would now have roads and streets. We could create things on different levels, oh if only you could see the pictures in my mind. Everybody Edits would become the world's best and most exciting and complex game. Everybody Edits would become famous and many more people would come to play, they would buy the features, they would just love it. Editors might hate it a tiny bit, but i would love it as both a level maker and a level player. The more we do to make Everybody Edits better, the more we can do. More levels, more ideas, more innovation. Imagine a worldwide phenomenon that totally revolutionize games. Well, this would just be the beginning.
Let's prepare for the awesomeness of 3D.
triple post... you're getting a warning soon..
1. Triple post = bad.
2. I don't think he's going to pretty much re-program the entire game. All graphics will change and stuff like that.
3. A good map will take freaking forever.
4. It's going to look really stupid with random people running around everywhere.
5. Massive world = 200x200 = 40000. 3D massive world = 200x200x200 = 8000000. Hell no.

The bigger the world, the better. Just keep playing. O key to toggle overhead view. It is time to revolutionize gaming. I will be standing there right at the helm as i begin the first MAJOR gaming revolution. Great saved world: 200*400*400, Great saved world: 32000000 cubic units. Hell yes. Bigger, better, more advanced. let's make the real world our EE world. Time to start!

Panic is Panicking. Never panic. Not much reprogramming needed. Graphics doesn't need to be changed. Just these little controls and how it all works is needed, and we already have half of that.
Triple-posting may be bad, but i like to post a lot. Who really cares? I don't post too much.
New level sizes:
Small levels: 15625 cubic units.
Medium levels: 125000 cubic units.
Large levels: 1000000 cubic units.
Massive levels: 8000000 cubic units.
Wide levels: 8000000 cubic units.
Great levels: 32000000 cubic units.
More space!
My fourth post in a row. They aren't going to do anything. But wtf, i love this idea.
3d Everybody Edits? Sounds like Minecraft.
wobbufet, you get 2 warnings for multi-posting 2 times.
Chewy: Haha, I was just gonna do that.
Not much reprogramming needed.
What grounds is this claim based on?
I'll just save you time and tell you that the 2D gameplay is never going to change ever. The 2D platforming gameplay is supposed to be reminiscent of the platform games that most of us played during the golden age of gaming with the NES, Genesis, etc... Making EE 3D would completely destroy that and only make EE more of a very strange Minecraft rip-off instead of an original game.
The closest thing to a 3D version of Everybody Edits would be Minecraft. Go play it nao.

well, we could at least make a 3D levels section.

the grounds that all of this would be new programming, not reprogramming. see?
Another warning for double posting. You have 3 warnings. Banned for a day.
it was a quadruple, triple and a double post in one tread.. EPIC..
Bad idea. Why?Making game 2d to 3d will cause massive usage of ram and CPU.And that will kill the play.
Offline
2d ee= many people not being able + so much lag
3d ee= servers crash +use a lot of ram + crash your computer + game need to be re-programmed + MAYBE written in another language.
no, thanks.
this is a REALLY bad idea. why? it would end up having the same problem as roblox (though they managed to totaly bring down the lag on roblox, but thats taken over 15 years and they are STILL doing it.). it would also be SO HARD TO MAKE OR EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE WORLD!!! also think about how it would RUIN the concept of EE!

^roblox or worse. Maybe as bad as second life. I tried it for 5 minutes. Then it ripped apart my computer.
