Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

About 1 cent for chat...

Hey! It's blakeman1 here. I don't think 1 cent for the chat is fair. Little kids wouldn't have email accounts. So there should at least be a switch that let's you chat. Please leave some POSITIVE feedback. Thank you for your Co-Op;)

Yeah, it is. It takes OVER 5000 dollars a month to run this game. So buying chat is the least you can do.

It is fair.
It is for confirm that you are trustable enough for chat from your parents.
Therefore, it it was free, there would be alot of lag and spamming

Re: About 1 cent for chat...

If you can afford internet you can afford chat. Chris actually doesn't even receive the penny. Paypal gets it.

Add banning and there we go, all problems fixed, anyone screws up in the chat, kick, if needed, ban, simple as that...
EXCEPT chris hasn't implemented banning yet, but once he does, AND if he brings out chat for all accounts, we'll need to buckle down and suck it up like the men and women we are.
Back on topic: It's only meant for parents to control, too bad it's both flawed and flawless...

Re: About 1 cent for chat...

wow, another chat complainer.... t.f]
what to do:

1. Get a credit card
2. Get a paypal account
3a. Find some pennies on the ground
3b. A more riskier option is to beg for money, but I really don't want to suggest this.
4. Put it in your credit card
5. Deposite in Paypal
6. Log in to EE
7. get chat
8. Done

If chat didn't cost 1 cent, then EE chat would probably be a nightmare. Just saying. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

*face   palms* the whole point of the 1 cent thing is so kids dont sign up for chat and start spamming and being annoying. But of course thanks to shared accounts now those n00bs can annoy the **** out of everyone T_T imagene how bad if everyone had chat.

That's also saying minecraft classic is a nightmare.
Only on the right servers, and for E.E., the right worlds, it'd REALLY separate newbie worlds from the good ones.

That's the point. We're trying to keep little kids off the chat.

It's inevitable, Children know how to lie, they know how to make fake info, hence why we're getting 8 year olds with goddamned E.E. accounts
It isn't a large problem in and of itself, but like i said, IF he's going to release the chat for all E.E. accounts, he's gonna have to give us a ban command as well.

First of all, Chris only pays 3500 Dollars and that for all his player.io games, including ee.
Second, Per transaction, Player.IO charges Chris 3 cents, so Buying chat wont help Chris pay the game costs, it makes him loose money!
And third, Chris also helped to create Player.IO, so... He might not have to pay that money, EE does a really good job demonstrating what player.IO can do, making game makers try it out. I don't think he is paying the full money.

I am 12 And i have an email acc. Use HideMyAss For it. It makes u a fake email, which expires.
Make it last for about 1 month, and make a paypal acc. After that is done just use captcha trader for it. It takes u about 3-4 Days to get 1 Dollar. 1 Dollar = 100 Chats. Simple.

Everyone says that it's only 1 cent, but the problem is the credit card.

Re: About 1 cent for chat...

The one-cent fee is there so that kids cannot use chat.

If you have a better idea to get kids off chat, suggest it here. Until then, it's staying this way.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Deal with it son.
There's also SOME little kids who are smart enough to impersonate as parents on verifying chat with emails and impersonating their parents to get chat, so that would be a really bad idea.
