Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

A almost Flame-War because of a "joke".
Not all women can't drive.
Just most of them.
Their's a secret message. Can you find it?
They probably died.

The people who parked those cars are females!!
Read further on, just because it's meant as a joke does not mean:
1. It is acceptable
2. It is actually funny
3. Gives you a right to be sexist.
Just because it's meant to be a joke guys doesn't mean it's not offensive, yes the "Women can't drive" thing is a stereotype but that doesn't mean you should use it just because it is commonly said...

Would you get offended if I said all bananas are yellow? That's a stereotype, for it's not always true. Who cares?
Now, this stupid argument is getting way off-topic. Let's just laugh at the male and female drivers.

Are you legit comparing offending a person to offending a fruit? My point is you wouldn't say "All black people are criminals" then say "lol I just meant it as a joke" again, it's a stereotype but still rude and just because it's meant as a joke doesn't mean it's acceptable to say it...
EDIT: Bananas are yellow is pretty much a fact. Not a stereotype o_o.

HOW DARE YOU!

But.... listing off stereotypes is the pinnacle of humor!
(No, it isn't)
well, it is definetely offensive to females (I am not one). Female drivers can actually be good. I know one that can drive better than most men!
Also, I love the first picture for some reason.

Apparently you never went to High School.

Um... no. Bananas are green while they're growing, yellow when they're ripe, and brown when they're bad. Therefore, it would be incorrect to say Bananas are always yellow.
Now, laugh! LAUGH, I SAY!

Okay, for the 'women who can't drive' arguement, I found something that contributes to this topic while looking for something to put in my signature:
'American MALE drivers are three times more likely to be killed in a car crash, but American FEMALE drivers are slightly more likely to be in a crash on a per-mile basis. Generally, men drive faster and take more risks, which may account for the average severity of crashes.'
Probably not very credible since it was a 'fun fact' site.
So here's one devoted only to car insurance rates.
x
'Based on annual statistics, it seems that men are involved in more accidents than women. However, annual reporting does not take into account the fact that men drive more miles than women, on average, and are therefore ?exposed? to traffic situations more often.
...
Moreover, the men of the house are not usually hauling precious cargo ? the children ? as often as women. All these factors mean that while women, bad drivers as some of us think they are, have a high incidence of fender benders in traffic, parking lot dings and other minor accidents, men are far more likely to be involved in an accident that kills a person, or causes major damage to property. '
So basically, women have more accidents than men.
HOWEVER, men typically have more huge-severe people-killing accidents when they do have accidents.
I'd rather have 100 small accidents than 10 huge ones.
(Stereotypes exist for a reason. I once watched repo games and this black couple said their favorite food was fried chicken and grape kool-aid. Unscripted. [and also my dad said he'd be an organ repo-man when I mentioned it, which was amusing.])

No, I didn't go to High School. You wanna know why? It's because I live in freaking England and it's called secondary school here. And what the **** does me going to school have to do with the post? Please expand. It just seems like you don't have a reply so you go for a comment about my education.
Also, where did you find 'always' in my post? I simply stated Bananas are yellow, because most of the time they are, therefore I was not saying that they are just yellow all the time. It would be incorrect to not read the post and then reply to it

In High School, many students make jokes. Jokes often have to do with race, ethnicity, etc. These jokes often revolve around stereotypes. When somebody makes one such joke, the entire school doesn't yell "BURN IN HELL, B****!" before impaling him with their rulers. Rather, stereotypes are taken as an inconsequential joke. All of this culminates in the original reply: Who cares?
Also:
1. You should really try to censor words like that.
2. Secondary School = High School. Is there any difference?
3. I wasn't commenting on your education, but rather your sociability.
Also, where did you find 'always' in my post? I simply stated Bananas are yellow, because most of the time they are, therefore I was not saying that they are just yellow all the time. It would be incorrect to not read the post and then reply to it
Apparently you need to take your own advice. When did I say that you said that? I merely said that it would be incorrect to say that.
Now can we please stop arguing about jokes and bananas?
-Stuff-
There is a difference between the English secondary school and the American High school, maybe it is just because I actually went to a good school but here no one actually made jokes about stereotypes or about ethnicity, race etc I would know myself because I wasn't born in England and not once has anyone mentioned or made a joke about me coming from another country and I know it was the same for others students.
(Just to say: Secondary school is for ages 11-16, High School is from 14-18, although between the ages of 11 and 14 there is only 3 years difference, it is still a time where you seriously grow up, so I think Secondary schools might be more strict on behavior I suppose, so yes there is a difference.)
My sociability really has nothing to do with it, I had at one point been in the same class as most people in my school and not once have I heard any jokes about stereotypes or ethnicity etc
Oh Im also done with the banana's topic...
And I'm actually really not trying to argue, clearly I just found something to be more offensive than you did because I think that jokes about sexism and stuff like that is more common in America than here (not hating on America I just think that's the case)
I bet an Asian drove into the tree.
OK, now that's just racist. I've never actually heard about asians driving badly so I find that racist and offensive because I'm asian(not chinese, japanese or korean, the other parts of asia).
thx for sig bobithan

That first picture in the OP is actually a treehouse.
I read about it somewhere on Cracked so it must be true.
