Also, I updated the OP. Please read it, I've added rules. I came back because I quite missed my ol' city game.
There were a few unintelligent things done very recently, which I'm going to ignore. Some of you very recently made good additions, but... Well, the huge civilization jump from tribal stage to skyscrapers was too much. I'm just going back to a volcano, terrain, and a nice sky. I used gradient for this full background so it looks nicer. Start over, and this time try not to make huge leaps. Be realistic.
Anyway, here ya go:

The volcano finally stopped erupting.
Over time, a few microbes eventually evolved into gigantic ladybugs. With an abundant source of food, a large infestation of large aphids, they shall prosper for a while now.

With trees all around the world, the Gigantic Ladybugs have enough oxygen to support their large lungs and heart. There is enough oxygen to be sent throughout the body with their weak heart(s)
A cloud appears from the horizon, will it devour the trees with its stormy personality?

One of the Gigantic Ladybugs has the time to hide within the leaves of one of the unusually-and-coincidentally-perfectly sized trees, and one is to the side out of the rain. Unfortunately one gets zapped. Too sad.

There is 2 gigantic ladybugs in this area remaining, luckily they are of opposite genders, so the population may still continue, and possibly flourish in the future.
Due to the nutritional value of the remains of the dead ladybug, and the rain, there is a sapling in the vicinity.

The volcano is now active and is showing signs of erupting in the about 4 more posts! (spams don't count) this eruption will probably bring forth an ice age, the giant ladybugs, sensing the coming danger retreat underground (Made my best descending hole into ground)
I know that the volcano has already erupted but it was clogged by a large boulder last time, then the built up pressure destroyed the boulder, that's why the eruption will be so devastating

The volcano has started A LOT more smoke, with the volcano a mere 2 posts from erupting vigorous earthquakes riddle the area, look at one of the ladybug's holes! the earthquakes have pushed up a relic from the planet's past (See what I did thar?) Apparently all of old Derpville was sunk underground after the global disaster!
