Given that the gradient of a function is sec^2(x/2) + 5/(3x + 4) , and the function cuts the y-axis at 2, find the equation of the function.

for the first question you are wrong. sort of. In common math logic, you are right, but if you totally disregard that, 0/0=1 because, philosophically stating, 1x0=0. that, of course, is not really true, so technically you are right for solving the problem but wrong as in failing my confusing yet unintelligent riddle.

for your problem, i think it is... 5 cents? idk i just went with my gut

If a bat and a ball costs $1.10 and a bat costs 10¢ more than a ball, how much is the ball?

a + b = 1.10;
b = a + 0.10;

2a = 1 => a = 0,5
The ball is 50¢.

Next: f(x) : R -> R, f(x) = min(x + 4, 3x);
What is f ^ -1 ?
