Hot damn. It DOES look very horror-esque, but perhaps if the font was a bit uhh eroded/destroyed or something, sorta crumbly looking, it might look better. The red/purple tint looks fabulous.

Thank you! Yes, some erosion might add some spice to the whole composition, I agree. I considered doing that at first, but was a bit hesitant since eroding such a thin font can be fairly distracting if done incorrectly. I shall look in to this.

Can you atleast try and draw a basic outline of the thing? No colour or extreme shading.

Bumping this topic with a new wallpaper I made in about 40 minutes or so. Was practicing how to effectively use blending modes with multiple layers of textures.

EDIT: Just noticed that Imgur automatically turned it in to JPG from PNG, so excuse the terrible compression.
