Under a Cherry Blossom Tree (A story written by Mangoman)

Hey peoplez, I make stories for fun. This may go a little to fast for the story and they may be some mistakes in it. One day I wish to become an author. Here's one of my stories I am making. I will add more to it as I keep going. Hope you like it!

Rated PG+13 for some violence and mild language.

Chapter 1 - Pink Rain

Part 1
     On a hot, summer day, I?m just laying around, under my Cherry Blossom tree in my backyard. The back door opens. ?Why would you even do such a thing, Tyler?? My evil step-mother said to Tyler, holding a belt.
?Do what?? Tyler asked. Step-mother didn?t answer but whipped him with the belt. ?Ouch!? he keeps yelling but step-mother just whips him harder and harder. I really want to get up and get a skillet to punch her, but if I stand up to her, she?ll go psycho and will kill everyone in her way. Plus, I?m kind of a coward. ?Kairi!? Tyler yells out. ?Kairi!? he yells again. I try to block him out, but he just gets louder and louder while Step-mother whips him. I wish I wasn?t a coward. I slowly get up, and a blast of wind knocks me back down. Pink leaves fall from the tree because of the wind. Step-mother stops whipping Tyler and looks at me. ?Why did you just make the leaves fall from the tree?? Step-mother hollers at me. I look at her, dumbfounded. ?Why on earth would you do that?? she yells.
?I didn?t do anything!? I scream at her.
?Oh, I saw you shake that tree,? She screeches.
?But I-
She screams at me and runs at me. She tackles me like a football player. She pins me to the ground. Right here, this is just child abuse. She sits on me, feeling like an elephant is laying on me, and she starts slapping me. Tyler just stands there, shocked. What a horrible step-mother this lady is. Why did dad have to marry this lady?

Part 2
     Ten minutes later, step-mother gets up and tells us to go to our room. We don?t argue and run to our room we share. Tyler?s back marked with red lines, my face marked with step-mother?s wrinkly handprint. Once we get in our one room, we look at each other in a sad face. ?Don?t you just want to? run away?? I ask Tyler. He?s shocked.
?Why?? Tyler asked.
I clear my throat and reply, ?Because the witch keeps treating us like we?re hobos in her trash. She acts like we?re her servants. She?s been treating us like this for 4 years.? Tyler sits there, motionless. I scratch my head and say, ?Look, I?m just going to run away. I?ll leave at midnight. If you want to come, meet me at midnight,? and I walk out the door to go to the bathroom, wishing I could just punch step-mother?s old, baggy face.

Part 3
     I stand under the Cherry Blossom Tree with 2 bags packed with everything I need to survive. Food, clothes, money, and a few other keepings to remember this place. It?s 1 minute after midnight. I guess Tyler?s not coming. I walk to the gate and open it. I take one last look at this place, and walk out the door. ?Wait, Kairi!? a voice says. I panic because I think it?s my old step-mother, and sprint away with three heavy bags, not knowing where to go. ?Kairi! Wait!? the voice says again. It?s Tyler?s voice. He?s running after me with a bag. I panic even more, though, and run as fast as I can. Tyler?s voice gets quieter and quieter until I can?t hear it. I still keep running, though. I?m such a coward for an eleven year old. My brother is less cowardly, and he?s nine. I run until I?m at the main road out of the neighbor hood. I don?t know where to go. I should?ve thought of this. I run one way and keep walking really fast, until the neighborhood is
out of sight. I start crying, thinking about Tyler, my dead dad, my memories in that house. That?s all about to change, because the next thing I know, I?m in a sack.

Part 4
     I wake up tied to a chair with someone else next to me. I slowly look at her. She looks nothing from me. I have dark hair and small blue eyes, she has blonde hair and big brown eyes. She?s staring down. At first, I?m cowardly to say anything, then the words come out. ?Where the heck are we?? the girl looks at me. She shrugs. A guy comes and unties the girl. He carries her to a room. I only get one glance in the room. It has a machine. That?s all I know. All of a sudden, I hear a scream coming from that room. I start to panic and try to untie the knots. It unties easily. They must suck at tying. I untie my legs and stand up. I see the door start to creek open. I panic, like always, and rush to the nearest door. I open the door and I find myself more doors. The building is like a maze with a billion doors. When I open a giant door, I find myself outside with a road in front of me. I look both ways and run the same way I thought I was going the last time. All of a sudden, I hear barking. Not normal dog barking, but sort of werewolf barking. I freak out and sprint, then I remember one thing. My bags! I turn around, about to go back, then I see a giant mutant wolf running after me. It looks like the girl I was tied next to. I turn back around and sprint, but I?m no match for a werewolf. The werewolf tackles me, and I feel claws drill down my thigh. I start to see red, then I black out.

Part 5
     My eyes open to a really bright light. I squint and see two people with lab coats on. They?re either doctors or pharmacists. I can?t see what they are. The lights dim and I see that they?re doctors. One of them is holding a sharp drill. Another one is holding a hammer. The two look at me, then they look at each other, then they walk quickly out of the room. They still suck at tying so I easily untie myself and see that there is no mark on my thigh. It looks like there was never a werewolf lady that attacked me. I get up and open the door. It looks like the same place as were I was tied to, except no one is there. I find the same door I ran out and slowly walk to the road. I look both ways and see nothing. I panic for no reason and sprint the same way I did last time. At least a random werewolf isn?t chasing me. In the horizon, I see an unconscious werewolf, lying on the road. I freak out and almost faint, until a hand touches me. I scream so loud the werewolf somehow wakes up. He starts chasing after us, about to kill me, until someone pushes me out of the way, hitting him. I get up and see that the werewolf is attacking? my brother.

Chapter 2 - Cries of a Dove

Part 6
I?m so shocked. ?Tyler!? I scream out to him as the werewolf starts to bite him into to pieces slowly. I gather up my courage and run after the werewolf. I get his hair and start pulling it. I couldn?t think of anything else. The werewolf looks at me and drives his claw through my heart. I faint, breathing heavily. I slowly go to my death. The last thing I see is the two scientists making the werewolf get off my brother. I hope my brother is okay, I think to myself right before I black out, again.

Part 7
    I?m lying on pink sand, looking up at cotton candy blue clouds. I try to get up, but it feels like I?m tied to the sand. I close my eyes and open it again. This time, I see doves crying out my name. Kairi. Kairi. They keep crying it out. I look in their eyes and see my dad?s eyes, and next to that dove, I see a dove with my mom?s eyes. ?Mom? Dad?? I yell out to them. They look at me. Behind them I see a giant raven, that looks like my step-mother, slash my parents in bodies of doves. ?NOO!!? I yell at the raven, but it was too late. The doves fall down, blood dripping out from them. The blood drips on me, and the doves fall next to me. I start crying out tears, mixing with the blood on my face. ?Mom? dad?? I whisper to them. The raven keeps flying. Wake up. I hear a voice say. Wake up. I hear again. I close my eyes and open them again to see that I?m in a hospital like room with no one in it, except no one is in with me. I?m about to get up, seeing that I?m not tied to anything, until I hear the voice again. Lay down. I pretend not to hear the voice. Lay down. ?Who are you?? I say as I sit up. Just lay down, and you will be okay. ?Who are you?? I say again. There?s a long pause. Finally, the voice says, I?m your dad.

Part 8
     ?What?? I yell out loud, not even caring if anyone else hears. I hear footsteps come. Don?t argue with them. Do as told and don?t speak. Dad says. ?How are you talking to me?? I say. I may be dead, but I?m still in your heart. Dad replies. The doctors come in. ?Well, you okay to get up and go see your brother,? the first doctor says.
?Bu- ? I remember what dad said. Do as told and don?t speak. I nod quietly and walk out the door. I look both ways. Which way do I go, I ask myself. Go left. I hear dad?s voice and walk left. I follow his directions. Left. Right. Right. Keep going. STOP! I come to a halt and look at a door next to me. I know that?s where my brother is. I walk in and see him, half asleep, but looking at me. ?Hi,? I say to Tyler.
?He, hello,? he replies with a smile. I smile back at him and go up and hug him. He doesn?t budge. He just hugs me hard.
?We should?ve never left. This would?ve never happened if it weren?t for me. I wi-
?Shh?It?s going to be alright,? Tyler says to try and calm me down. I start crying. I hear the door open. I turn around to see the door open behind me. The person who opens it is my step-mother.

Part 9
     ?KAIRI!!? Step-mother screeches at me. ?WHY DID YOU TRY TO KILL YOUR BROTHER?? She screams at me.
?I didn?t do anything! It was the were-
She grabs my by the neck and picks me up. I start choking. She drags me by the neck and takes me outside. My face turns blue. I slowly close my eyes. Finally, step-mother throws me in an old blue car. She gets in but doesn?t close the door. She ties me really good to the seat. She turns on the car and it starts going slowly. She gets out and walks back in the hospital. I can?t get out of the car. The car goes faster and faster every second. It keeps going and going. Soon, I see the road turn about ten yards away, and a cliff.

Part 10
     I start to panic. I try to untie myself but I can?t because my step-mother is really, really good at tying. ?HELP!!!!? I yell out, but no one hears me. I yell out again. soon, I?m 5 yards away. Then 4. Then 3. Then 2. ?Dad!!!!? I scream out, ?Please, talk to me!? no answer. ?DAD!!!!? I screech. Calm down. Everything will be alright. Dad says. ?No it won?t! I?m going to fall of a CLIFF!? I yell back. I know what happens. Dad replies. I slowly close my eyes. I breathe real heavily. I open my eyes again. The car starts going over the cliff. I scream, then something hits me, literally. The car gets hit to the side and the car hits a rock, making it spin back towards the road. I get hit repeatedly, leaving blood on my face and body. The car lands on the wheels. I look back to where the car was hit to see that the same werewolf hit the car.

Part 11
     I stare really long at the werewolf. I knew everything is going to be alright[i], dad says. I start yelling, ?NO YOU DON?T! EVERYTHING DIDN?T GO ALRIGHT! I WAS ABOUT TO FALL OF A CLIFF, A WEREWOLF HIT THE CAR, THE CAR HIT A ROCK, AND I END UP ALL BLOODY!!? and I quietly close my eyes, panting with all the blood coming out. I?m so sorry, I thought everything was going to be al-
?No,? I whisper quietly, as I go with death, ?why, why??

Part 12
     I wake up again on the same pink sand, watching the raven high in the sky, with my dead parents in the bodies of doves. ?Why did this have to happen?? I quietly ask myself. No one answers. ?I wish my brother is okay,? I say, and I sigh. Everything starts going cloudy. Then, everything starts to disappear. Soon, everything is just black. I just close my eyes with death right next to me. Then something hits me. Literally, something hits me. I snap back to real life and see a hand on me, trying to pull me out. I look at the face and see that it?s my brother, one hand on me, one hand on his bleeding wounds.

Tyler
Chapter 3 - Sacred Blossoms
Part 13     
     I try to pull out Kairi out of the car, then I see it. She?s tied to the car. I untie her very carefully, afraid to give her more damage. ?Y- y- you came,? Kairi says quietly to me. I smile and nod at her. I finally untie and I pull her out of the car, then I carry her on my back.
?We have to hurry before the car explodes,? I say. The car starts going on fire.
?But that only happens in movies?? Kairi says. I don?t question and I run as fast as I can, carrying Kairi. The car explodes but I keep running.
?Hang in their, Kairi,? I say as I keep running. The werewolf sees us and blocks our path. ?I?m not afraid of you, you dirty dog!? I yell, but the werewolf stays. He grabs Kairi but doesn?t try to kill her. Instead he puts her on his back. He then looks at me. I look at him and go on his back. He runs away, going really fast. He keeps going, then stops. There?s something, someone in the way. It?s my @ssho1e step-mother. Sh17.

Part 14
     Step-mother is red with anger. She looks like she?s about to blow up. She runs to us and slaps both of us so hard, our cheeks are throbbing. ?What the fu*k is wrong with you?? She yelled at me.
?I want to save Kairi, I don?t want to leave her, even if you think she?s a dirt bag,? I replied. Step-mother punches me in the face. My face starts to throb even more. I slowly get up, and I kick her shin. She hisses like a snake and we go into a battle of the death. She?s throw giant rocks at me sometimes, but I dodge it. I hit her hard and she is covered with bruises and cuts. She gets her shoe and opens up a little compartment inside it. She takes out a knife. A long, sharp knife. She points it at me. She aims it at me. She throws it, but at Kairi, and it jams in her ribs.

Part 15 (The final part)
     "Kairi?" I sadly say to her. She struggles to catch her breath. Then, she stops breathing. "KAIRI!!!!!" I yell as I shake her, trying to revive her. But I can't revive people. I don't know how. I start crying and stepmother sits down. Stepmother slowly grabs out another knife. I bet she's going to throw it at me. Except she doesn't, she stabs herself in the stomach.
Before her last breath is gone, she says, "I have done terrible in this world, and now, its time for me to go," and she is gone. Now I'm all alone. I burst out into tears. Why? Why did this have to happen? I start looking up and I imagine a cherry blossom tree, the same cherry blossom tree I have at home. I imagine us under it. I look back at Kairi. "I'm so sorry," I quietly say. I feel the cherry blossom leaves fall on me, even though I'm just imagining it. I stop imagining and I get up and pick up Kairi. I slowly walk down the path with her on my back. Once I get to a grassy area, I lay her down on the grass. I pick flowers and put them on or near Kairi. "Rest in Peace," I say when I finish picking the flowers.[i] Yes, yes, rest in peace, i hear in my head. "Who is that?" I ask out loud. Me, it replied. "Dad?" I yelled. No one replied. How about we finish it off with the knife jammed in your ribs? it replied. All of a sudden, I hear it in real life, then I hear, "I bet that would finish it off," and I see a person with a blue coat, brown pants, and a golden hat walking towards me. "Did you plan all this?" I yell at him. "Lets finish this," he said. "DID YOU PLAN ALL THIS?!" I yell at him again, "ARE YOU THE REASON MY STEPMOTHER KILLED KAIRI?!" he slowly nods his head up and down. Then he suddenly disappears. I don't feel shocked that he left though, all I feel is hatred and revenge. I get up and I take the knife out of Kairi. I can't believe I left that there. I walk away, not looking back at Kairi, and I think, I'll kill that guy, even if its the last thing I'll do! I hold the knife hard, and I set off to find that guy.

Sort of... most of the stories I make are funny and happy, I'm trying to make this one... serious and scary, sort of. I promise my next story will be more happy

In part 13 it says "Tyler said." It should be "I said." There are a few spelling errors. Also PLEASE do not add vampires PLEASE. This is a great suspenseful story otherwise. I would not correct you if I did not care.

Hmm...maybe chapter 4 will be more bloody, but I don't like a lot of blood in mah stories XD. It's weird people will get scared reading this fluff and I didn't get really scared reading this...are you reading this at night with the lights off?
