SO! Who here plays video games?

After all, this is a forum for EE, and EE is pretty much a build-your-own video game..

Anywho, to the people that do play, what consoles you got? What are you currently playing? What games are your favorites? What games are you looking forward to?
As for me, let's see...I currently have a 360, Wii, and PS2. I don't really play the Wii or PS2 anymore though. Can't wait to get my hands on the new 3DS.
Uhhh...right now I'm currently playing Fable 3 and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Orgin, cause I don't have a whole lot of free time this winter...though if I did, I'd start Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, cause I have it, I just haven't played it. <_<
As for favorites, well...my first favorite would have to be Diddy Kong Racing, since I grew up with the N64, and that was the number one game I played all the time...for the PS2, I'd have to say my first favorite game was Soul Calibur 3, cause I absolutely loved the Chronicles thing, and I'd always try to get a team of Swordmasters up to level 99 before my little brother corrupted the memory...and after he did so three times, I gave up. But then I was introduced to the Silent Hill series, and they were all some of the best games I ever played. Didn't really have a favorite game on the Wii. But for the 360, I must say, my favorite game is, without a doubt, BioShock. Everything about that game was completely perfect, and I'm furious that my little brother managed to break the disk. >_<
Future games I can't wait to get my hands on would be BioShock: Infinite, Silent Hill 8, and F.E.A.R. 3. They're gonna be so great. @_@

Kidding. I mostly play games on my PC, including games like Unreal Tournament 3, Just Cause 2, Mirror's Edge, Minecraft, Star Trek Online and pretty much every console Zelda ever. Getting a Wii pretty soon as well, I hope.

Hah, I've only ever heard on Mincraft out of that list. Though from what I hear, Minecraft is great.

And honestly, unless you know exactly what games you want for it, the Wii is really...boring, I guess. Now I'm not going to lie, the Wii has its fair share of really great games, but it's like, once you take a break from it and play something else, you realize it just isn't as good as the other consoles, and whenever you see it, you go "eh, I can go another day without playing it".

But hey, like I said, the Wii DOES have good games, so I recommend the following games:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Mario Kart Wii
Animal Crossing: City Folk(but only if that's your kind of game. Some people find games like these boring)
Metroid Prime Trilogy (Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 all in one)
Super Paper Mario
New Super Mario Wii
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (but only if you like scary games)

All of these are really good games, though honestly, only Brawl, Wii Kart and AC have the kind of replay value that will have you still playing months after. If my copy of Mario Kart Wii still worked I'd still be playing it. :/
Oh, and most of these games are older Wii games, cause I haven't bought any in years.

I pretty much have a Wii, although I'm selling it next September hopefully for a PS3. It's just not entertaining enough to me.

Anyways. I have basically all the Wii games you've listed, except for Silent Hill. But the reason I'm not selling my Wii any sooner is that I pre-ordered Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and it will arrive in January. My birthday is in September and it will give me time to think if I ever change my mind.

I have the following consoles: PS1, PS2, Wii, GameCube, DS, Sega Master II, Gameboy and this PC.
I play Super Smash Bros. a lot as well as Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I use my GameCube at my Nan's house to keep me entertained.
I don't use the Sega Master II very much because I remember playing Alex Kidd In Miracle World and I died on the first level always.
And on the DS I mostly play Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, mainly trying to beat my times in time trial and checking my ranking on the leaderboards. My best lap time is in Sewer Scrapes. 0:56.00 Seconds. (9th place out of everyone ).

I have a DS lite, a gameboy advance, a gameboy advance SP, Xbox original, CD-i at my mother's house, this PC, and I used to have an xbox 360 until my brother moved out and took it with him.
I mainly use my PC. My DS Lite I play nightly for about an hour, and I don't touch anything else. My PC is full of games, pirated software, and illegal emulators. I play a lot of Pokemon. Pokemon's my favorite *handheld* game series. My favorite game on the original Xbox is probably Fable: The lost chapters or Jade Empire. On the Xbox 360 it's Soul Caliber 3 [So very sad when I couldn't play it anymore.] For the computer, it's probably The Sims 1, 2, and 3. Pretty sure I'm getting the two expansion packs I don't have for the sims 3 for Christmas. As a matter of fact, the sims 3 is running right now... making #eechat in the sims, lul. Starcraft's pretty pro.
Oh, yeah, my dad's girlfriend has a wii but she's a **** so I've played on it once. But that's ok, Wii sucks.
I like RPG games, they're pretty amazing....
Don't ever by Scourge or Hoshigami for DS. Just saying. They're really horrible. The only good games I have for the DS are Pokemon Diamond, Heartgold, Soulsilver, and Animal Crossing: Wild World. Which is almost all I have. Of physical copys, anyways. *glances at hidden rom folder*
Tamagotchi is a good gameboy color game.
My current favorite game at the moment is Portal. I downloaded a copy of it in November and finished it earlier this week. Been only playing periodically. Best game ever.

And imo, you should just sell it. I mean, my Wii works perfectly fine, I just kinda...forgot its existence.

Hm, my older brother had a PS1 that we left at our grandparents' house for when we went to visit when we were younger. I wonder what happened to that thing. I vaguely remember him also a Gameboy, but the only game I ever played on it was some Wario game. Never had or played a DS or Sega Master 2, although we did have a Super Nintendo. Have you ever played one? They're pretty awesome.

That's a lot of handhelds...I only have a GBA SP, and the only thing I ever play on it is Donkey Kong Country 3. I have emulators and roms too, but the controller I use for my computer is less than accurate, so say the least. It sucks and it's hard to use it. :/

I play wii because I won it in a contest thing. I wish I had won a ps3 though. I used to play rock band 2 on the wii all the time but it got boring once I could play most of the same songs on real guitar. Now I'm hoping to get call of duty: black ops for wii. BTW call of duty games are more fun on wii than ps3 and x360 combined imo.

I HATE Halo games and World of Warcraft, as well as Callof Duty, All of the Wii games, and all mario games except for the original ones.

Ah, I would but 1. My MKWii disk is broken and doesn't work anymore, 2.   The input/output cords have both of the sound cords messed up, and 3. I don't have a wifi connection.
